I made this to attach my kayak paddle to my kayak and my wrist. I love how I can adjust the length to suit. And I can also let go of my paddle and it won't float away in the current. I love it!

I made this to attach my kayak paddle to my kayak so to free my hands when I want to. I like how I can lengthen the length to uit as well.

Hello, i wanna try to make a Saxophone strap with this. I did it but with the weight it keeps moving and i cant adjust it. Is there a way to make it adjust but then not move? (sorry for my bad english) i mean, i need to be able to adjust it anytime i want but without moving when i dont want to

Nice tutorial but OMG why so much waste on the ends?? After you tie the knots work one of the ends short until you finish with one long piece to cut off instead of two short ones. The one piece may be useful for other projects. You'll also know how much LESS cord to use next time.
A trick I find useful is to see if there is some way I can make a project without having to cut any cord off the spool. I have to rethink the knot but often by tying it a different way I can do it with only one free end, Then I work the knot backwards making that one end very short. When I cut all I've used is the actual cord needed with no waste.
Alternately I'll use a very long piece (the entire 50 foot hank I bought) and do the same thing; working the knot to retract one of the loose ends. Same finished result though. One tiny piece sticking out and one HUGE piece sticking out. Total cord waste = almost nothing . :) Yes it's a pain but paracord is $$$ and why have a pile of 3 and 4 inch waste pieces collecting?
    Only a thought.
