A couple of years ago, I started using your method of prepping a lanyard and I continue to use your method in 2024.

Excellent video. This deserves a lot more views. Trying (and tying) it this weekend!

Thanks for an informative video, well done. Just purchased an 18 inch machete and it feels much more secure in my hand with your cleverly designed lanyard. Greatly appreciated!

2:33 Thanks, just bought a knife and didn't know anything about lanyards. This is perfect keeps me from losing my knife. This looks like something I would see in a military video.

Just finished the task and it's Great! Thank You!! I followed your exact instructions (except I used figure 8 knots as the stoppers) and the blade is far more secure than the thumb wrap. I am sure there will be more power for chopping. Starting on my second blade.

Great video! Very detailed and easy to follow. I did a personal adaptation, wich was I only use 1 stopper knot on the slide end, but it's just that personal preference! Thank you!

I've been using the thumb wrap deal and I have nothing but praise for it. I will certainly give your method a go. Thank you for your video and assistance.

Nice method, never seen it before - thanks for showing.
When you melt the ends and want to roll them between your fingers to make them look nice and smooth, but don't want to burn yourself, just put your fingers in a small bowl of cold water for ten or twenty seconds. I use a tealight for melting the ends, so one hand is free to cool in water - never got a burn again after developing this method.

I love this! Thank you. I'm left handed so it took me a couple of tries to get it right, but I did and think this is a great/safe lanyard for a knife.

Most knife lanyards seem to be decorative? I cant understand that. This is very practical, great video 😊
