- My dad drove a car very similar to this when he was 17 and loved it! He finally found this one owner Plymouth Fury III, and attempts to drive it 100 miles home - will it run and drive?

It was used to spray chemicals to kill mosquitoes, roaches , bugs ,etc. Love the car by the way.
Thanks for the info! I had no clue. Glad you like it. More videos to come getting it to run right and making it look a little better.
I remember my dad doing the same thing from time to time. Tapping that carb. As a auto machanic by trade we never traveled very far with out dads tool box and full jack assembly, checked the spare tire for air. That was over fifty years ago. Great memories. 😊
Thanks for sharing!
You have really good videos. I like the editing work as well as the fact that you video nearly every detail. You don't just skip to the next day until it's basically the next day. Keep it up!
This means a lot! This wasn’t the best video do to the circumstances, but tried to get most of it filmed. Appreciate the support!
I went back and watched a lot of your old videos and one of my favorite things is when y’all go through the cars and all the junk that’s left in them
Appreciate it! Never know what you might find!
I got a '76 Valiant off the Tulalip Reservation for free. Original owner parked it in the late '80's, early-'90's when the heater core started leaking & the radiator started seeping at the top tank seam.
It came out toward the tail end of production, so it is "Custom" cheapy car that has weird options. V8. Swaybars. HD suspension. 120 mph speedo. 8.25 sure-grip with 2.76 gears. HD cooling. Passenger side exterior mirror. Map light.
You have an A engine, polysphere 318. LA means "Late A"/ "Light A" (light casting) depending on who you ask.
Pretty neat! Thanks for the info.
@@RealSteelFabrications welcome- it looks like a great starting point with that Fury
@@olikat8 plan to just get it running right, clean it up a bit, then just enjoy it!
This was the last year the A 318 was available in the USA. The next year the LA 318 replaced it and also became available in the A body cars (Dart, Valiant).
@@1575murray yup, believe you are correct!
Love the sound of that starter! Miss that sound that you would hear often in the past.
Quality mopar starter lol
Absolutely. Always sounds great!
you and your dad are badass keep up the great work!!!!!!!
Appreciate it, hopefully can get it running better.
Cool car, it should make a nice cruiser. My mom used to have a 66 Sport Fury 2 door with buckets and console.
Awesome! It rides very well.
@@RealSteelFabrications Nice
that is NOT an LA it is an A (aka Poly, aka wide block) 318. also there is a trim level you missed. Sport Fury. Nice find.
Ya realized after making the video, my apologies
The poly was before the LA engine, it was actually called an A engine.
thanks for the info
it was probably the solid filter as the fuel enters the carb or the sock in the tank
was very gummed up
The little knob under the dash there is for the front to rear speaker control. This is the first Fury III I have seen with A/C and NO P/S AND NO P/B. I grew up around these cars and jus love the old Mopars. Good luck with this.
PS: DO NOT OPEN the Miracle whip jar. It is probably full of botulism and would ruin your day.
Was an odd set of options for sure
The filter at about the 5:30 mark looked like it had Yoohoo flowing through it.
Sure did
nice to see you got the big burr oak in mcbane.
Couldn’t leave out the 350 year old tree
rear speaker option with fader - fades the am radio front to back.
"Its an 8 starter adventure morty!"
Rick and Morty fan aye?
Subscribed! Love the car!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great job
Appreciate it!
I think you have the making of a successful channel here. I'd suggest less trying to copycat VGG lingo etc, and develop your own thing. You don't need that.
Thank you! I watch him way to much and it wears off on us lol
What was name of song in the beginning
Not for sure
timing is out
It’s all good now
