This is the Maiden flight of my FMS P-40 1400mm.
This is actually my second P-40 - I had one for about 3 years or so and flew it a lot. I sold it about a year ago as it was getting a bit grubby and looking tired. It also had some hangar rash from transportation, so i decided to get rid of it, but always had the intention of buying a new one. This one I bought off FB marketplace NIB for a bargain price, so couldn't pass it up when it came up.
The P-40 1400mm is and awesome flying plane that's quite capable, looks fantastic and has excellent scale details. My only complaints are that it could use a tiny bit more power for a better vertical climb and the plastic gear doors have very soft springs that allow the doors to "flap" when travelling at speed, and this can be heard in the video as well.
