Good thing I hoarded a lot of mopar parts in the 90s... Not too bad on cost but yeah it use to be a lot cheaper to get it done... Rockauto still has deals on a few things but its getting fewer all the time.
Did you keep this the atock boar? I have a w100 that id love to pep up a bit. But everyone i find seems to boar sleave and steok theirs. I just wanna vlean replace and burn out.
Some of the parts like the cam and lifters have almost doubled. But you can save a lot of money if it doesn't need a trip to the machine shop. Makes no sense, quality is going down while the price steadily climbs!
I have a 1990 dodge ram d150 and it bogs really bad and doesn’t go past 40 mph and dies if I don’t give it gas consistently. I’ve replaced a lot and I thought it was fuel pump but my mechanic said not so I really can’t figure it out
Being that it's a 90 model I'm assuming it has the TBI injection. In my opinion those things were nothing but a headache, that's why I convert all of mine to carburetor. It could be anything from fuel delivery to ignition related or a clogged up catalytic converter.
I just found out I have a 3.9L V6 throttle on it and mines a 5.2L V8 I’m hoping that’s the problem of why it’s struggling so much, but would I just replace the injectors, or would I have to get whole new throttle body
@isaacburgess9277 I'm not too familiar with those. I may be wrong but I thought the 3.9 and the 5.2 shared the same throttle body. Sometimes it's easier to just swap the entire TBI out for a known good unit.
We appreciate your business!
We appreciate the fast and accurate service as always!

It's definitely getting harder for the average guy

@@jessiehoffman88 stock bore, ran a dingle ball hone through it and sent it.
That's not too bad considering how expensive everything is now.

Gidday did you get all the engine parts from summit
Yes, I ordered everything for this build through Summit. They have fast shipping, which usually arrives in 2-3 days.
