- In this video you're going to learn the days of the week and the months in Turkish. Learning Turkish is super easy. Learn the name of the days and the months in Turkish. I'll also explain to you how to tell the date and how to talk about your birthday. By the end of this video you'll be able to say when there's a holiday or another specific date that you want to talk about. To improve your Turkish even more, make sure to check out the other videos about Turkish on my channel.
My name is Reşat Ören and on my channel I post videos about various languages, mainly English, German, Spanish and Turkish.
If you're a polyglot or are just interested in one of those languages and want to learn and acquire them, make sure to stay here and subscribe!
I also post videos about myself and my life. It actually depends on my mood.
No matter what I post though, there's definitely something for everybody out there.
I hope you guys enjoy!

-tesi is normally ertesi so for example cuma ertesi = cumartesi. "Çarşamba" and "Perşembe" come from farsi language as mean 4.day, 5.day. "Hafta" is also originally farsi as mean 7 day.

I had a question about saying the year in Turkish. When we say the year in English, we do not say one thousand nine hundred ninety five, for example, we say nineteen ninety five. So in Turkish, if we had to say 1995, can't we say on dokuz doksan beş, instead of saying bin dokuz yuz doksan bes ?
P.S. I apologize for not writing the correct Turkish pronunciation.
No we can't say on dokuz doksan beş
Thanks for sharing, but the english txt are bugging... cant see the turkish phrases properly...😊
Is there anyone who wants to exchange languages? I know English , Turkish well and German a little.
Hi
Mine is Cuma because we pray Namaz with socially as a Muslim so every Friday is important day for me. Also there are Eid, Muharrem or more. Actually can't tell the date because it doesn't follow Gregorian calendar it is follow Hijri one and in my house we have only Gregorian but we count Hijri one when Ramadan is come. So special date something different in Gregorion one. But same in Hijri.
This youtuber did not mention anything about our Muslim festival.
I think some Turkish girls have their name EYLUL
