- Scooter Cannonball 2021 Day 1 part 2 - this is the wacky experience of rider No.89, GoPam, riding a Vespa GT200 coast to coast in America in this scooter event. HUGE thanks to ALL of the Cannonballers, support truck drivers and event staff. Please correct any of my mistakes in the comments. I'll be eating humble pie for quite some time.....

Thanks! It can be tough editing oneself. But like cannonball, it is a long process & endeavor that I tackle in the driver’s seat. Thanks for your offer but I’m going to carry on for now. Thanks for the kind words. I’m a bit delayed again on my videos. But more are on the way….

15:00 What a Cool looking Bridge! Yep, the puppies were cute. Ya know Pam, you really should get to the Cannonball a day or two Early so you can recover from the trip and be fresh to ride. I know that's not always possible. I kid about your deer drawing but honestly.. I could not have done better. Love you! Look forward to number 3! (also I look forward to the day I can join you on a Cannonball!)

And yes that’s sound advice. For 2023 I can ride to the starting line in SoCal….and even so…I’ve decided to get there a night or 2 before this time!!

Will 2023 CB be the one for Pam? We have seen her endure and persevere over 2 cannonballs so will the 3rd be the one for her to shine on? I think she embodies the whole cannonball culture! You go Girl!
Oh Barry you are so sweet. I’m certainly in very early prep this year for 2023. A redemption ride for gopam. I’m definitely one to watch to see….what NOT to do hahaha.
So funny, you say rock and roll to get going but I say rock and stall. I’ve taught MSF beginner rider course for 20 years. Not a whole lot of rock and roll but a whole lot of stalling from the new riders. A worthless tidbit.
GotMojo got a good laugh seeing me rock n roll trying to get a scooter of the center stand haha. Rock and Stall is pretty funny.....until it happens to you 🤣 And hey, way to go. Thanks for teaching MSF and getting new riders safely on the road!

Thanks Jeff. For my professional day job, I mostly use Avid. For my down & dirty cannonball videos, I use FCPX.
What communication system do you use?
In 2021 I used the helmet camera Sena 10C - in 2023 I used the newer Sena 50C
Xmax 300 would be perfect for cannonball, flad they changed rules for 2025, i might try getting a xmax and register for 25!!
the xmax would do great on that road - if the rider isn't afraid of heights lol. Grab and xmax and we'll meet in 2025. Ride on!!

Would heated grips help
Absolutely heated grips are great. I’ve never installed them on the vespa since I’ve wanted more voltage for my electronics instead. If you want heated grips you should test how much voltage you are using for other electronics. Many people have them with a gps etc. I think I overloaded a bit with multiple cameras, gps, & iPhone this year.
I been following you for 2 cannonball runs. It been great watching your videos. I Have a question how many gallons of gas are you carrying are should carry
Just a suggestion can you please do a video on the must have and have nots on the cannonball trip for people who are rookies . That would be awesome thank you

Thanks for following! There are many discussions/opinions on how much gas to carry. Also some install auxiliary gas tanks too. I personally was carrying a 2.5 gas can on my floorboard rack and TWO MSR bottles. After I get through the 2021 series I'll try to do a follow up video on my cannonball prep/set up for you. Thanks for watching!!!
