It's Day 3 part 1 of Scooter Cannonball 2023 riding from Winslow Arizona to Los Alamos New Mexico. As I wait for Barry aka wbdvt (who I'm starting off the day riding with)...Waiting for Barry to help give his extra garmin to Lisa and Merry Mary.....I get a chance to chat up fellow riders in the morning.
And someone takes a spill and dumps their scooter in the Day 3 morning checkpoint hotel parking lot !!

trying to catch up on your videos. i have hit the beach 2 times so far and rode about 40 miles on sand and one of the first things i found out real fast was DONT use the front brakes on sand or dirt. i plan on hitting the beach as many times as i can until 2025. but they went up on the price of the 2025 cannon ball
Right! No front brake. When I’m exhausted with cannonball brain…my mind sometimes gets confused thinking front brake is the right side (like right side motorcycle foot brake). That’s why I say out loud clutch side clutch side! I’m impressed with your beach practicing! I need to practice dirt more but so far I’m just commuting on LA streets!
