- During our 2018 Rig Rundown at the Ryman, the bluesman details a pair of early '50s @fenders that could have led to his new "The Bludgeon" Joe Bonamassa Limited Edition '51 Nocaster.

The year is 2031 and every instrument ever made has a Joe Bonamassa tribute version including some Joe Bonamassa tribute to the Joe Bonamassa tribute guitars.
Honestly, Joe Bonamassa is such a corny sellout
@@roymontero4066I mean I used to think the same thing but I’ve come to appreciate the hustle, he’s doing what he loves and making it work for him and his crew I respect him for that.
Cheers to J.B and john mayer for keeping the blues going these are no nonsense blues players.
He's the most boring artist 🥱
You could build a Partscaster with all new parts, and your favorite neck profile and be 'close enough'...
After 30 years of playing it's what I've finally realised is THE WAY to get your own dream guitar.... stop searching - just build it yourself!
Absolutely agree. I’m into ’54 Stratocaster neck profiles and nocaster baseball bat necks. I have swapped all my skinny c profile necks out. I find it less fatiguing and adds a bit of thickness to the tone… Leo Fender designed them to be modified to personal preferences.
@@earlyaudio4226 I found my favorite profiles to be the '56 Strat and '58 Les Paul. Face it: Why buy a guitar with someone else's favorite neck profile?
I really enjoy hearing you talk about the intricacies of your guitars 🎸 the history, mods and so forth. 👍☮️🌞🌟🎸
Joe could prolly pick up a Squier Strat 2021 Made in China and still we be drooling with the tones and his playing. I"ll pick up that 51 Nocaster and it will be a No Show for sure. Just saying. He is an incredible player by all means.
I don’t know who invented the plek machine But it’s really an ingenious invention
Telecasters are the absolute best!
I swear, that interviewer is an alien
I really, really, really want that guitar
@@easter_sunday Sure. But it would only get you 90% of the way there. That guitar has that extra 10% that he always references. Just like you could get 90% of the tone out of a new Les Paul vs a 59 Les Paul. But you’ll never get it identical. Anyone can build their own, but it’ll never be a fender custom shop level guitar.
so the frets have been flatten in the middle i think
nice
Joe "I beat the hell out of it every night" Bonamassa
What's with the 17th fret on the bludgeon, there's no wear compared to the rest
Did he have it wired out of phase?
Terry Reid didn't get Led Zeppelin gig and then Deep Purple.... Two of my favourite bands.. and now Telecaster with a Humbucker (just like my guitar) sold...... 😀😀😀😀 poor Terry...
Isn't it time for some fresh videos? The plague is mostly over except for those who choose to take their chances. I'm sure there are many artists who would love to be interviewed currently!
This is being posted to support the launch of Joe’s new Fender replica of the guitar they’re discussing…probably paid for by Fender.
We've been posting fresh videos all throughout the pandemic AND while coming out of it. We've aired a few Rig Rundowns back in the "wild" and have a bunch more in the can and scheduled. Take a second and look at our recent uploads ... lots of new goodies!
Not paid for by Fender - we had this content from back in 2018 and Joe's new collaboration with Fender makes this clip from that Rundown relevant again.
Hmm in another video Joe claims he found this guitar at Guitar Center Hollywood
Vintage guitar prices are always goings up because of this man 😀 But i'd rather he has them all instead of some rich and tasteless guy who bought it just to hang it on his wall to make his friends envy.
That’s not the bludgeon no caster, that’s terry reid's no caster they lookalike but that’s not the one they recreated to sell as a custom shop
There's two of them in the video ... a '52 (the Terry Reid) and a '51 Nocaster.
Lol sorry that’s what I get for not watching the whole video
It happens...
You may have a shot at one too for only $8k... good grief!
😘😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wait that isn’t the bludgeon…
There's two of them in the video ... a '52 (the Terry Reid) and a '51 Nocaster.
Bonamassa > Mayer
Gary Moore > Bonamassa, Mayer, Sayce and all those
