@@ShadowLight2012 the bathroom door doesn't shut tight against the ceiling. There is a fan right outside that door. FitRV did a very extensive tour of this rig.

Winnebago, take note of this feedback and points of improvement:
1:43 - That table needs to be a Lagun mount. Current hardware will trap people on inside seat, awkward.
1:58 - For $163K, you need a better Ruvati type deep undermount sink. This cheap sink is ugly and will splash.
2:54 - FYI - This is a Nova Kool compressor fridge made in Canada (not Norcold). Price is cheaper than Isotherm & Vitrifrigo, but they could have done two separate doors for fridge and freezer. I don't like one door models, as you cool down the whole fridge every time you open the freezer. I am glad that Winny is finally using a compressor 12V/110V fridge with no propane, but... you don't include a solar package as base model but extra add on. So fridge will not work off grid unless customer shells out a huge sum for a basic solar package. Highway robbery at this price. Charge less.
3:15 - This is not a wet bath, there is a separating swivel wall. They got this idea from European RVs. In the past, Japan and China copied US designs. Now the US RV industry is so behind, it is copying Euro models - too little, too late! This sink is absolute crap. It is a toy sink. Mirror is a joke. Are we rationing mirror size?
4:00 - Shower areas on Euro RVs have CNC cut acacia mats so you stay dry when toweling. Missing here! How hard is it to add one Winnebago?
Shower fixture is so cheap. IKEA sells Euro sliding adjustable showers for $24 retail. All Euro RVs have that, including sexy LED lighting. The Oxygenics shower head looks like a penis head sticking out. I cannot believe that only ONE shower head exists in the US to deliver some force at 12V power. Ugliest design to be created, ugh! Europeans would never put such an ugly shower head in their designs, not to mention that super cheap straggly plastic cord hanging from it. Home Depot sells a 6 ft cord for $10 that has a good drape and does not look like an un-ironed linen shirt. How about adding a skylight or window or vent in that dark damp shower room? Moldy in 1 week of use and a nightmare to dry out.
4:48 - Just look at that poor cabinet design behind Robert's head. Still building the same crap since 1950s. Notice that wood sticking out for no reason? I trimmed all that off my RV to streamline the design. There is no reason to recess one cabinet and let other one stick out. Plus that wood hanging out too. Such horrible design. Just look at the cabinets in a Hymer, Dethleff, Burstner, Pilote, Chausson, Rapido, Adria. You will see sleek, curved, low profile, modern, high quality real wood or high gloss cabinets, not this vinyl fake wood.
5:00 - Regular not convection microwave for $163K base price? 🤣🤣🤣 Love the countertop red color but its Formica laminate, not even Corian. Seriously? MDF board underneath is just as heavy as Corian so this is cutting corners again.
5:28 - Bed design was stolen from Euro RVs. Nothing original here. Same old cheap vinyl fake wood over MDF
Truma Combi - finally a sensible water heater and heating solution. This is one intelligent feature.
6:16 - Great place to put the smoke detector - right where you stand up and hit your head on it.
6:32 - This is a 22 - 25 ft RV. Euro garages on a 19-20 ft RV are double the size, with the same layout of bedroom. I'm glad you are FINALLY putting in a garage which is standard on all Euro RVs, but please enlarge it, and add some recessed storage areas to hang stuff.
Summary for Winnebago: This is the smartest Class C on the market today, with many very nice features in a compact size. The size is perfect! Love the roof rack, and layout, esp the swiveling bathroom. Please add solar into base price, and make some of the changes suggested. Note that a Euro RV of similar size and functionality, has standard diesel, a wine bar rack, floor wine and shoe storage basement cabinets, loft pull down bed which would free up floor space, standard swivel cab seats, Lagun table, same bath but nicer hardware, sexy LED lighting touches, much better MPG, and costs Euro 60K - 80K (US $73K - $97K). Yours is $63K higher with less features and lower mpg. Why? Why are we not leading the RV market in every way? Its a fail overall. If we can be first in Space Exploration, why are you not hiring Italian designers, US engineers and making a top end product for an affordable price???!!!! This is too little, too late. Speed it up.
Robert, the tour was most appreciated! Please do not talk when you are filming someone giving a tour. You can edit the final film to condense it. Keep your questions till later. It feels like a dialogue on your end, but on the viewing end, it is a different experience. Thank you for no music and for a nice in depth tour! Love your posts!

Give me slide windows with screens any day! I generally dislike awning windows and like these even less. Especially those by the bed! I'd never feel comfortable sleeping with them open. Anything, or anyone, can easily and quietly climb right in!
Though AWD is nice and the bathroom clever, for the $164k starting price, the styling inside seems really lacking and doesn't look remotely high-end.
I'm sorry they stopped making the Trend. That was a nice small gas coach, reasonably priced with some versatile configurations to choose from.

I always avoided units with wet baths, this is the FIRST one that would make me reconsider. What a brilliant idea!
My comments to Winnebago: 1. vent the bathroom. 2. there needs to be a way to have a towel and change of clothes accessible from inside the shower (if traveling with more than just a spouse). 3. in the bedroom area, move the lights & fire alarm in the headliner away from the center (less likely to hit your head). 4. have a dedicated place to hang the kitchen sink cover. I love the Ekko!

This is almost perfect for the nomadic couple that wants to hit the road and just travel and boondock in style and comfort while economizing their resources . Love the cassette toilet, I'd rather dump a cassette than jack with a blackwater tank or a composting toilet and saw dust, however I'd prefer an outdoor griddle instead of the two burner stove. And for my wish list a two-tap kegerator , oh yeah....Perfect, Ha,ha !!!

We love the Ekko. It would probably work for us. I personally do not care for the toilet arrangement. All in all it looks like a Hit. Thanks Robert for all you do.

Very cool Ekko 🚐 RV, not pretty but super functional. Show price was doable, but 179K is a big high. Could custom build one pretty, for 50k under the retail price.

At 2.00 look at the poor quality of the window surrounds. Absolutely shocking quality.
They've taken the layout from recent European motorhomes, but the space efficiency isn't as good.
Good job on the questions, the ventilation is a must to prevent rot. Winnebago did a good job on listening to you, at this point this is a symbiotic relationship, you bring business to them and you can test their fielded equipment.

Winnebago is churning out some decent products lately. I have their Itasca Cambria about the same thing as this and love it. Had it lifted and 4X4 conversion.

For what those cost you can get a brand new Newmar Baystar class A
Maintenance ,fuel consumption and size will be more with a Newmar Baystar class A ,which would have to be a consideration for a fair comparison , however with the limited space in an Ekko I can see a 60 yo couple getting real crabby , Ha,ha,ha !!!

Bathroom is cool and the outside storage is amazing but absolutely nowhere to store your clothing that I saw. I would kill my husband in that thing. Think I'll stick with the fifth wheel. There's nothing better than having a slide.
When we did Route 66 a couple years ago we met a couple from Germany who had shipped their Caravan over for their tour of America. This is so close to that.
Hate the finish on cabinet tops, lack of two bi directional fans, no hang up space (4-6) inches would help
Love the storage garage, seating, space across the aisle from sink to put a Berkey (lengthen the faucet), seating, storage across
Suggestions, widen the box, storage in the steps throughout floor, lagoon table

I saw the EKKO today. It's quite a rig. The DW and I wouldn't mind having one to camp in. I just bought a 12v (cigarette style) plug in adapter for my CPAP machine. So it is nice to have that 12V receptacle in the bed area.

It is like a sister version of Leisure Trvael van Wonder rear twin bed. LT Wonder is much more beautiful to look at from both inside and outside. Only competition would be pricing.
This maybe Inspired by the European models but the price doesn’t reflect that. I can afford the European model RVs but this Rv thing is almost as much is my house. Winnebago you need to make a reasonably cost class B RV.
Make the garage wide enough with ramps for mobility scooters and it would be perfect!
I dislike my Suburban sunken stove anything that spills crumbs or anything goes down and when you want your stove you have to clean it all up. Lousy

The chassis it is on lacks any sort of ground clearance that would allow you boondock. Not to mention how big is the fuel tank is for the vehicle.

The EKKO WAS THE TALK oF THE SHOW... Its what Liesure VAN is to Canada.. The Ekko was GREAT but i would still get the LEISURE SERENITY MODEL...
But LTV doesn't have the charging alternator! And they still don't have electric fridges.
