Definitely the dinette! The table seems MUCH sturdier.
Agreed. The table with the sofa seems like a pain for storage then set up.
The dinette is the best in my view less work more space for the two of us...
The ones with the dining area in the back are nice if you back up to a lake you have a nice view well awake inside from the dinner table
I like the one with the full dinette and a permanent bed. So much easier. We LOVE your Travelling shows.
Robert hope you do get the 2108 model upgrade. You travel so much the comforts of a sofa or theater seats would be great. Also the shower size big improvement. Good luck👍
Wow, this was really interesting! I liked the 3rd one you showed with the bigger dinette area. It looked more sturdy. Ditto for the twin bed arrangement ... the Murphy bed seemed more problematic to deal with.
Ty.I have 2020 2108ds and i love it.Heavy duty axles absolutely quality inside and out and i tow with suv.Winnebago has great customer service A++
Robert, you should get the twin beds, add a large folding table in the center and this will make a large area for working. At night, you add the middle cushion and Ily and you will have a nice king bed to rest. Food for thought 🤔
Thanks Robert... I enjoyed the tours...
Really love the Micro Mini 2108. I like the sofa with the added table, you can use it as a prep area too, clean up, then eat, or eat outside!
The 2108DS is probably the best fit for you! You get the sofa when the bed is up but you also get the large dining table to edit your lovely video’s!!
A nice video, we have so many nice places to see in this world. Happy traveling!
I like the ones with the rack system down each side of the roof that can hold canoe rack, etc.
I have a 2019 2108FBS with off road package that I really like. I like the changes they made. Pocket door and the table,
mine is a stand alone alot more sturdy but to heavy to deal with. Took it out and use tv trays.
Got a 2021 2108FBS (B) Model in October and love it! The dinette is great to have, and the stationary walk around "queen" bed has a large storage space under it that is super convenient!!!!
They're all so nice. I think my favorite is the one with the 2 beds and sturdier dining table. I doubt if you could go wrong with any of them. They sure are a nice rig.
Great video and the micro minnie is interesting with sooo many different styles to choose from...thanks Robert,,always good.....
The dinette is definitely the way to go. We love our Murphy bed and highly recommend them on a smaller rv.
Robert we may be neighbors! I am in Palmetto Bay area. We just purchased a new (old ) 2008 29 foot Winnebago Access with a Ford E450 ! We have pulled out the carpet and put down vinyl flooring. We painted the cabinets and washed her down. We put new tires had her aligned , put Hellwig anti sway Bars a new shock and new batteries. We are ready to go!! Very excited about the trip we have planned this summer. I appreciate your blog as I have gotten a lot of great information! I have watched several and will go back and watch the ones I've missed. Love your music and your personality!
Thanks Robert! Definitely like the dinette with Murphy bed 2108DS version! Bigger and studier table and your equipment fixed in place for your video editing on the road! Can’t wait to see Minitini III 🤟🏻😁🤟🏻
Thanks for sharing the micro mini trailers. They have made a few nice improvements.
We love our twin beds and yes dinette is sturdy
The dinette table looks much studier . I like a separate bed room that is always a bed room , and not fond of slide outs , but that is why they make so many different models .
Love the brighter interior. I 'd choose the one with the fixed bed. Good luck with your decision. Thank you for sharing.
The bed looks like a small full bed, definitely not enough for 2 people. Good for one person, though.
4:14 nice setup, but not sure how steady the table is for holding a lot of equipment, may need to reinforce it somehow.
7:06 the dinette might be a more stable option.
Great reviews of all of them!
Moooovin' on up!🙌💯
It was good meeting you Friday Robert. My choice of the Micro Mini would be the model with the dinette. The extra storage under the seats would be a plus.
Something you could do for more work space with the Murphy bed option and sofa is to use the table provided table at loveseat, than where you have the sofa under the Murphy bed add a personal free standing table that folds up as another work option. Great review!
…VERY EFFICIENT use of space; GREAT design…! Roberto. MUY BIEN!! 👍🏼👣😷
I like the setup with the permanent table
Good job. Thanks.
If I was going to be working a lot on the road I would want to be able to look out a window / have it open in nice weather while I was working.
Looks comfortable for you guys! Good choice!
I LOVE the twin bed!!
Cant wait!!!
I like this one with the dinette.
I have a completely different requirement for mattress comfort than the person I'm living with. Thank you for showing the twin bed version.
Hola Robert, estoy contento con tu canal , tengo 3 niños y me encantó el de las litera, lástima lo mostrate muy rápido, gracias he viajado mucho contigo en este canal.
Great choice Robert. Very nice!!
I think what you did to your first mini tiny with that long table and two chairs for your workstation was a great idea
I thought the dinette looked very functional for working. It seemed that you could control the light level for monitor work on bright days just with the dinette window blinds, and the table looked sturdy.
Nice upgrade for you guys...will need a clothes plan..but you will figure.
Nice preview.💕
My first traveling robert live show! Wahoo!!!
This rig has the same handles that cut your thumb on in the Grand Design.I changed all 25 handles in my rig .VERY SHARP!
those type of handles look very easy to hit your legs. Don't like them at all.
I'm glad that Winnebago is now offering compressor fridges.
Been awhile since I've watched you Traveling Robert. Got up this morning and thought, "I need a TR fix. What's this dude up to?"
Good stuff bro!
We were looking at the 2108 DS until we saw the reconfigured Murphy bed. The mattress and no lock is a deal breaker for a new one.
Prime pooping position ... lol .... caught me off guard .... luv it!
Nice review, feels like I'm there too
Nice rig Winnebago
I hot the 2108ds like that new table and the pocket door the bed seems like a pain in the ass nothing wrong with the old setup plus you can put in your own mattress
thanks for all the videos of the RV show , it was almost like being there - ours in ohio all cancelled this year
The dinette is a better choice. We have a sofa in our RV with a table that has to be put up every time. I got so tired of that heavy table we left it at home and put in 2 tray tables that are easier to set up. If I had a choice again it would be the dinette.
Get a Lance 1985. It will have everything you need.
We have a 2021 2108 DS with Murphy bed and a dinette. My wife works remote and the office is in the dinette. Very comfortable for 2 people. Ours was built in July 2019 so technically is a 2020 model. It has the extreme weather package and the off road package as well. The mattress is one piece and the bed goes up with hydraulic hinges. Great price too. We are on our way to Main. Great channel by the way.
On my Micro Minnie 1706FB I put a generous bead of silicone around the kitchen and bathroom sinks and the wall edge, as well as the shower basin.
I thought you'd be hooked wanting the Class A!...
Its not an easy , but I like 2108. You need a rigid freestanding table or dinet table. Slideout do alot for the space here. You need som space for your equipment and a good position for TV you like so mutch.
I like the Twin Beds with dinette.
Really like the floor plan. Looks comfy and efficient. Thanks for the great video and commentary. 😊 have you looked at an ecko?
17 too small 24 too big. 22 just right. 2108 fbs dinette queen or tb dinette twin bed is the way to go. Murphy bed seems like a gimmick and couch is awkward for dinning and wasted storage. be aware that the queen is short, however Brooklyn beading in Phoenix AZ makes a short queen in many of their mattresses and a full timer will want to replace anyway. Thanx Robert for taking us all to the RV show.
Robert another great video/presentation of the Minnies. The table design on the first two models appeared flimsy…🧐
The dinette model’s table looked much more sturdy. My guess is that you will choose the dinette.
I want a sofa comfort cushions around dinette seriously
Robert, are you SURE you want a "slide out" with the extra weight and maintenance, and a "Murphy bed"? Looks like a pain in the A_ s to me. Is the fridge a 12 volt? And you need an oven (as much as you like to cook!)
00:58 - Prime Pooping Position - Hilarious!
With the murphy bed, you already have a sofa, go with dinnete to work and eat....that's a perfect trailer to do your work, nice but small enough to move all over...
Hey Robert, do the slides have auto covers on them? Thanks for showing the TB. :)
Robert great videos, I would be very interested in your opinion of the Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S.
The 22 ft one is the best
I think dinette and twin bed is the way to go
Someone's been watching Matt's RV reviews
That swivel table could be used for serious counter space in meal preparation too Robert. Just wish Winnebago would figure out it needed a reclining sofa aka Rockwood. I was surprised your channel had made it to Direct TV...I sat my wife down and we watched a few episodes.
I didn't I was on DirecTV
CRAP! I lost my remote. Give me a few minutes to verify where we saw your channel.
@@TravelingRobert OK...WOW...talking to a YT contributor in real time. You surprised me Robert! Even my wife raised an eye brow. You are on Amazon Prime not Direct TV.
I like the Murphy Bed concept but that mattress is caca. Ducted AC in a little camper? Wow!
Greetings to you from Hermiston Oregon brother Roberts I like the layout but I don't like the Murphy bed Other than that it's nice :-)
The micro Minnie 1708 - no gap issue next to bathroom sink.
The 2108DS is very similar to my 2015 2101DS. The newer model has the following concerns for me...only 7 feet wide vs. 7,5, 30 something fresh water capacity vs. 43, small window behind sofa, and a lousy table.
The fresh water is on the small side... but for me the 7 feet width is actually a feature. I will fit in my narrow driveway.
I'll have to say one thing not to change what I said in my last comment I left here but I like the bedroom in the back away from the door not a bed by the door just saying peace out🤣
You need a 5 th wheel
Robert. Can you comment on your fridge and if the solar keeps it going
It is a little bit of a power hog, but it will run for several days
I'm curious how a non-dinette setup would work...maybe they'll let you take one out for a week to test it out. I work on the road, too, and I feel like the sofa/table setup would hurt my back.
Also can Winnebago please start using lighter colors inside? That thing was oppressive.
Love your vids Robert!!!
Robert, I have a GMC Canyon 4x4 with the gasoline V6 and I was curious how well your Chevy Colorado does towing your Micro Minnie in the mountains since they are very similar vehicles? My plans, since these RV’s come with an insulation package, is to travel to and camp in Ski Area parking lots and ski them in the winter and/or spring. A number of Ski Areas allow this and after paying $4K on my last ski trip the cost of the RV could pay for itself in time.
It's been doing really well.
Tv tray better then that table
If you're not plugged to shorepower, can you run the microwave?
The only thing is there’s no drawers for clothes
Or the booth has drawers under the seats
That bath sink has no elbow room
Get the "TR" version.
So sorry I missed the live chat . 🙁
On the trailer you like, I would think the bed should have a locking mechanism so it doesn't come down on your head. If that trailer is a lot heavier you might want to upgrade to a Ford F150.
It is 780 lbs heavier. 500 more GVWR
@@TravelingRobert I do suggest a larger tow vehicle. I hope to see you in Quartzsite, I have a double IPA from Paso Robles for you to enjoy.
Prime pooping position. LOL
Probably my favorite Micro Minnie floor plan.....
Murphy beds are the new hot thing in rv'ing , but I'm not a fan. They cut into your basement storage and the couch they make generally isn't very comfortable . The lifting and lowering a bed every single day seems only slightly annoying... until you put a matress topper, bedding, and pillows on it . Then it's more annoying.
I get it though , they save space in small RVs and give you some versatility.
Pros and cons to everything I guess.
With the first RV, the bathroom does not seem to be its strongest feature. The bathroom sink cabinet almost seems to be a bit of an afterthought as the gap between the cabinet and the wall would certainly be a problem, as for always seeing the toilet seat while the door is open this really takes away from the RV -- maybe another model might be better?
Have you looked at the Winnebago hike models?
I saw the Hike video this morning.
Fifth wheel mini
That first one is great. How come they don't use wet rooms for trailers? It would be so much easier to clean. You could scrub down the sink and toilet and shower and then rinse the whole thing down with the showers hose.
I personally prefer to have the choice of a dry bath
Does the hoa allow u to park in ur drive way ?
I don't have an HOA... but the biggest HOA of all is the City of Miami which does not allow it... so looking into moving someplace else eventually so I don't have to insert it into the 8 feet wide space on the side of the house.
PERFECT POOPING POSITION. lol
Does the table swivel or can you move it away from your waiste in the dinette version of this RV?
No
@@TravelingRobert Thanks for the response Robert! And thanks for touring all those models. Helps a lot.
Robert getting in and out of the murphy bed is not going to be fun. Crawling on and off at the end is not good.
It's still better than what I have now so.... we'll see
