Nice walk-through, Will. You sure do have almost every model Cockshutt from 1550 on. I remember in some of your videos when you were taking off rust, repainting and total restoration and the work was tedious a all get out. It was hot as a fire and the humidity was thick enough to cut when you were working last year. They all look good. I'd pay to watch you and dad maneuver all those tractors to squeeze each one in place inside that building. Now that has to be a bit of artful dancing. Thanks Will.
I hope to make more videos of these tractors working not collecting dust lol. I am hoping to paint 3 this year so i hope the weather cooperates 😁. Thanks for watching and for the video idea :)
Hey there William Chambers...I totally feel you on the stupid COLD this year! WINTER just won't LEAVE! Just found you on the Farmall LIVE nice to be on your community!
Excellent tour! They are all beautiful, but my favorites are the 2 tone paint versions like the 1600 and 1800. Early 50 series tractors had that scheme too, and I'd bet willing to bet your 1650 is one of them. Thanks for the video.
Ya I love that colour scheme too. I have seen 1850's in red and yellow but I have also seen 1600's in red and white????? There is no rhyme or reason for the colour choice. Underneath the 1600 paint is green so they must have changed their mind at the last minute lol. Thanks for watching and for the sub 😁
Awesome tour! Thanks for showing us around you collection! You will not run out of projects anytime soon lol! You've done an excellent job with your restorations and repaints! Yes, I think the indirect injected 283s in the earlier 1650s were a dog to start, but to be fair, if the direct injected 283s aren't done right, they also are not great. Maybe it's lack of experience, but I've never found another engine brand to be so temperamental about starting based on how it was put together than Waukeshas. If everything isn't set right (valve protrusion, liner protrusion, etc...) they just don't start worth a hoot! I know I've seen a lot of your tractors, but there may have been some you showed on here I've never seen before! You've got quite the collection! Thanks for sharing!
I thought maybe it was just the 283's cause our 1655 doesn't start worth a shit either. So it doesn't move at all in the winter. They both use roosa master pumps, i thought maybe that was the problem. Thanks for watching.
How's she goin'? wow what a nice collection of Cockshutt tractors. I have a friend who has a Cockshutt 550 I think it is. He thinks they're the best tractors and really likes his 550. Thanks for posting!!!
A Wonderfully fine collection William you and father have restored.Glad your Father rescused the 1650 from the wreakers. Seen a unrestored Cockshutt 1750 fwa going for $59,164 Canadian see what you mean absurdly money 😨
Thank you. I can understand why those 1750 fwd tractors cause there was only 3 made and I think they were only in Oliver colours. There was a cockshutt 660 sold for $23000 US but only 12 were made. Thanks for watching
Good day Boy that is a nice collection. Our neighbor had 1650 with cab on, connecting rod came out side of motor. Your friend from Linwood got it. Did your dad get 1650 from Fawcett Thanks Last video I asked why poor gas mileage in winter, I wonder if humidity has something to do with it. Thanks for now.
Howdy Don. Yup it came from Fawcett's. Do you know anyone who has a 1750 for sale? Im not sure why the fuel mileage is poor. My guess is the constant idling to warm them up. Thanks for watching
Is that the propane tractor you got last summer? If so it looks really good as well all the others! A full collection would be great but some times them rare pieces are over priced. Great looking tractors William! You have a good one!
Yes that's the propane tractor we got out west. I'm happy it runs cause i was worried when we bought it not running. Thanks John and keep your stick on the ice 😁

It wouldn't be the only one they changed their mind on. My 1655 had industrial yellow under the green, but only on the dash pedestal.
Nice Tractors! How Cow -7! Thumbs up! New Supporter
