  • Our quick three-day cruise on the MSC Seashore is coming to an end, but not before spending time on MSC's private island, Ocean Cay. It is a beautiful, chill spot and we take full advantage of our time and end up being one of the last few back on the ship. Although the day started out a bit ruff due to some service issues on the island, we end having a great time on the catamaran that took us to a shallow area where several stingrays visited. Our time onboard winds down with a phenomenal dinner at Butcher's Cut, MSC's signature steakhouse, and a lively party celebrating the music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. OF COURSE we had to break out our seventies costumes and boogie down. It was totally groovy!

It's Yacht Club or nothing on MSC. Don't you think?

Yacht Club is fantastic, but I am fine with the Aurea or Fantastica experience (Aurea is my preference) in an oceanview balcony. I could make Bella work for me as well with adding on specialty dining and a thermal spa package. For me, it's more about the ship. I prefer the newer ships for sure.

How much did the catamaran excursion cost?

The current pricing is showing $149pp, but I really do not think that is how much we paid. I feel like we paid $99pp tops. Perhaps because that was January or day of and now it is summer peak pricing, perhaps. But that gives you an idea.
