We just got home from the same cruise you just took and it was an awesome ship. We love Ocean Cay so much, it's gorgeous there. That family cove that has never been opened before is a new update called Seekers Cove. Also, they've changed the muster drill since you went and now they have you check into your muster station when you board and then you can watch the safety video in your room when you go to your room. It was so much better. They are definitely listening to customer feedback. Thanks for all you do!

I think this island has potential but it seems like everything is too spread out. Places like Royal Caribbean's Coco Cay seem to have everything more condensed and easier to walk to. I know this was filmed two hours before sail away which means most people were in the ship but it does give me the impression that this island is kind of sparse on the first day even it is at its busiest. I may be wrong but that's just what it looked like. Great video and thanks to all three of you for taking one for the team doing the long walks.
That's what a lot of people want. Why would we want a crowded small island instead of being spread our and exploring and going out on your own? Some people love walking and getting away from the crowds
It's because of the amount of guests, too. RCI takes an Oasis class ship and its filled.

Mainly dredged for MSC World Americana also got rid of rocks at Yacht Club area. Also added food trucks. Extremely cloudy, snorkeling was not good. We were there a week ago.
Thanks for the update. When we were there South Beach water very cloudy. Lighthouse Bay was definitely nice and clear, we could see rays and fish from our balcony.
Great video! Oh my goodness, if they're planning on accommodating two ships, they may need to up the ante on the buffet capacity and wait times. 😬 (They probably are.)

Since it is a newer resort the palms haven’t grown up like they will given time. Charging people for umbrellas when their island has little shade is pretty small minded of them. I can’t imagine that they rent out many at $30 a pop vs. guest satisfaction. I’d rather pay a tad more for my cruise and get umbrellas that I wouldn’t have to tote around from beach to beach. I love this island because I want peace and quiet, if I wanted rollercoasters I’d go to an amusement park and pay a fraction of the outrageous rates at RC.
I remember going there last year in 2023 and I think that one part of the beach has a screened in area to keep the jellyfish out, Bimini maybe? It is a shame they don’t screen in more area of the beach to prevent the jellyfish.

I dont want to get cancel for any hurricane or bad weather 😢? Thank you
Thank you so much. Weather is definitely unpredictable, in most cases your cruise would be rerouted if there was a hurricane. Very rearly are the canceled unless the hurricane is a direct hit on your embarkation day. Nothing guaranteed with Weather. Enjoy your cruise! 😎

Awesome video! Any chance you remember what time-ish you left the ship? I am trying to figure out how early I need to get up to get a beach wheelchair for my mom because she is disabled. I saw there are 5 but I don’t know how quickly they will go.
Once the ship is cleared for disembarking you can go right out. On our first day I think it was around 7:30 am. We went out around 10am and still saw one chair near the transportation area. If your staying overnight the next morning around 7:30 people were already heading out. Have a great cruise! Ocean Cay is very relaxing and beautiful! 😎

4:40....so rented umbrella is $29? i remember hearing someone said there are some free umbrella if you are some area within at a certain time?
Lighthouse Bay Beach has a limited amount of included umbrellas. 😎 If you reserve before your cruise last I checked it was $19 for an umbrella.
Why is the place so deserted? There are no people at the far end of the island.
It's empty because this is the morning we were departing the island. Most people just remained on the ship. 11am was all aboard. 😎

It does not look like much update. Coco cay is better, most or all of their beach chairs have umbrellas with it
I agree with that, CocoCay has plenty of complimentary umbrellas at all the beaches. 😎

Sad , they charge for umbrellas. Royal Caribbean does not charge for umbrellas. Msc needs to stop charging folks for something that should be free. This is a big turn off of a lot of cruisers.
