A Certain Ratio live in 1988 full concert

- This was my first ever video recording of a live band, in the year 1988, with my brand new, at the time, sony handicam. It was shot at the student graduate party (queima das fitas) in Coimbra, Portugal, on the 10th of May, and I was lucky to get a backstage pass that allow me to shoot at the pit (thanks to RUC - radio universidade de Coimbra). I'm a big fan of a Certain Ratio, hence the name of my channel. Sorry for the quality but you must understand that this is a 32 year old recording.
PS: the lettering at the beginning of the video was the reminder that Jez used to salut the fans in portuguese.

10/05/1988 - a very special day for me with the extra of A Certain Ratio in Queima das Fitas. But truly, the show started in May 11th, LOL.
Tens razão, era cartaz de dia 10 mas só apareceram às 2 da manhã de 11 :)

Eu tinha a ideia de que eles tinham tocado uma data de material do "Good Together", que ainda nem tinha sido editado na altura, é bom verificar que a minha memória não me enganou...

@@acrfactor Lembro-me sobretudo do "Big E", "River's Edge" e "Backs to the Wall", mas acho que deve ter cortado algumas partes, porque lembro-me da Flo McSweeney ter dito a dada altura "There's a strange light over there..." referindo-se ao sistema de focagem por IR da minha câmara fotográfia :D
Também me recordo que andava alguém a filmar, do outro lado da cerca, mas, para ser sincero nunca pensei que o vídeo tivesse sobrevivido estes anos todos...
PS: Aquele flash aos 37:39 +08 é da minha máquina... ;-)
@@StillCloser Grande memória que tens! Tive que fazer a gestão da bateria que era única e mesmo assim não deu para acabar de filmar o si firmo o grido. Ainda tens as fotos do concerto?
@@acrfactor Todas, incluindo algumas da banda que tocou antes, devem ser à volta de 30 ( a p/b infelizmente...)
