It really is the best sushi. The cheapest also. There's this delicious vegetable, pickled radishes. In some sushi places it is sold under vegetable sushi section and to me it is beyond delicious and addictive!

I always loved that you would still eat animal products and meat even though you love animals. If you truly feel most satisfied and happy becoming vegetarian than I am happy for you. I just hope it wasn't pressures from others. I feel the most healthy and fullfilled if I eat animals but I love animals so much.
@@atCatLeigh I am not going to debate with you. I believe everyone should eat what is best for them. Check out Abby Sharp. She is a dietician who is very supportive of plant-based diets but is not plant-based. You don't know everyone's life, it is about being happy and healthy. Some people are not fully happy or healthy plant-based. It is great for you if you are doing well and want to do that. I personally will not and Megan used to feel similarly.

I know this video isn’t recent, but I just wanted to say that I would recommend using less rice and a tiny dot of sesame oil will keep it from sticking. I’m so happy for you and your food journey. I was vegan for a long while and I’m working on taking fish and eggs back out of my diet lol

Alpro makes the best plant-based yoghurts, the soy Greek Styles are immaculate, especially the mango and vanilla, like desserts🥰 Oat based yoghurts are not great yet. Also there's some almond-based but personally haven't tried those yet 😊
Megan you should try MANGU (mashed plaintains) with some fried red onions (I like to fry them with a little bit of vinegar it really brings out the flavor) and fried cheese and fried eggs. It’s sooooo good this is a very flavorful vegetarian dish from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 🇩🇴🇩🇴 I think you would enjoy it! Also Make sure you mash the plaintains with a little bit of butter and boil the water with some salt and then put in the plaintains. Love your videos!! Much love from Jersey! 🥰

Try adding sweetener to non dairy yogurt to help with that. I like using the lakanto vanilla syrup. Honey doesn’t really do it. But yeah it’s hard to find good non dairy yogurt haha maybe soy? Or cashew! I like almond. And I tolerate coconut yogurt but it’s not my fave and it has like not much substance
Coconut yogurt is way yummier than oat, btw!! I hate the oat aftertaste in the yogurt and in milk form. If they have the daiya yogurt where you are it's so convincing!
Idk if you have but if you haven't, you should try the burger king vegan royale!! Since I went veggie it's the only fast food I really get anymore. It's so so good 💕

One of my fav vegetarian sushi rolls is a mango roll - avocado, mango, and really thinly sliced red bell peppers 😍😍😍 in a pescatarian, I’ve been a vegetarian on and off but I can’t get enough protein on a 100% vegetarian diet due to some food allergies 😔
You get used to the plant yogurts etc. That particular one is not my fav either but some of them are sop good! Try being vegan for a while and then taste milk or yogurt, it tastes so damn spoiled and rotten even if its fresh :D helped me with this case
Ooh any recommendations? I really struggle with plant based yoghurts 😔 I don’t like the Alpro one which I know is everyone else’s is fog too. The Alpro chocolate and vanilla dessert pots are elite though 🤣 literally just pudding in a pot! 😍
@@natashaj4113 well I guess some people just don't like any yogurt in general? 🤔 Don't know the products in the country you live in, but maybe try different ones based on what they are made of: soy, oat etc. At least those two have usually very very different textures. I don't like plain ones anyway, I eat mostly one specific made out of soy that has vanilla flavor, from Lidl. But yeah the plain ones might not be for you since you enjoy the puddings, I guess just try many flavors, that's how I found my favorite! I also like the individually packaged alpro protein things that have the "jam" on the bottom and you mix it in. That one is super thick tho and not super sweet. Luckily they make new plant based ones constantly!

Hey Megan! Don't give up on vegan greek yoghurt just yet. Oatly is a very famous brand but I don't really like their stuff, as a vegan myself. I don't think it's worth the price if I'm honest. Definitely try other brands and I am sure you will find an option you like! :)

And I stoped because I was in a hospital for few months and unfortunately they didn't have that option when it comes to food. And then I tried to get back to it because I really believe in it... But somehow I didn't make it :/ ... Hopefully one day I will again. But I mostly eat plantbased... Except I eat eggs from ours hens. And sometimes like two times in a week I would eat chicken.
Just remember to get your vitamin supplements like Iron elsewhere that you get from meat. I don't like meat and it caused me a deficit🙈 Anyway so many good recipe ideas whoa💖🍲
Aparently the mcplant is certified vegan which means it’s cooked on its own grill and away from any animal products but who knows if all stores follow protocol lol I’m in Australia so don’t have it here yet anyway but same problem with most fast food places they call it vegan but there’s always cross contamination risk

with the right seasonings, it tastes great. I use smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic, onion and bbq seasoning. If you still don't like broccoli like that try Broccolini which is like skinny broccoli but tastes nicer.

The veggie meat is actually cooked with the regular beef lol thats why i stopped eating it. It absorbs the oil from the other beef when cooking

with the right seasonings, it tastes great. I use smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic, onion and bbq seasoning. If you still don't like broccoli like that try Broccolini which is like skinny broccoli but tastes nicer.
