Too bad he doesn't have any footage from this year! *Lazy Clickbait* 2JZ (honda anything) *Goes, Or Just Mostly, Blows!* That's why hardly anyone puts up top prize money for import racing.
50:59 yes, the evo 1-3 had the engine head facing this way then in the evo 4 onwards they swapped the orientation to simplify the drive train for the wrc car, more specifically the the transfer case. They had an extra shaft in the galant and the evo 1-3 that was complex and extra weight
i have no idea how you have the energy to do everything that you do, but i have to thank you for the inspiration! i have a couple of long term[ not intended] projects that I can finish soon so I can enjoy them. not just work on them. thanks for the great videos!
2:56 didn't expect to see a Injepro controlled car at this event. Injepro is a brazillian ECU manufacturer that tries to compete with Fueltech. They are very known for having problems with the ECU, I myself run a Injepro that has had many problems.
Found you recently, last 6ish months, but loving the content, i think most people would agree longer videos are usually always better, more content=more entertainment.
Great to watch this video from your technicians/drivers point of view and behind the scenes of course! Fantastic to see that some teams use a lasercut plate to mount their engines in the enginebay. 😊
The red talon @20:29, being a TSI means it was AWD from factory, but of course all of the components on RED DEMON are aftermarket. The guy who made this car, makes a lot of the parts himself and sells them.
Great video watch and learn only correction is the Mazda rx7 being rebuilt with the old green car behind it the green car was Mazda rotory powered but the car is a Datsun fast back . I think Datsun model.is a 1200 but I could be wrong even though I have been around and built many of them living in central Florida I am a big fan of.the rotory engine have owned many built many since I was able to drive
@@oldm8alfie no this is the 2023 World Cups Finals. Peter mentions it, but coincidentally he released this video the same weekend of 2024 World Cup Finals.
I was watching toc tic earlier & saw an engine that used to be used in F1 racing. It was the old NA - V10 Honda F1 Engine & it was set up on a running rig revving up to 30,000 (thirty thousand RPM) 30K ALOT. I would absolutely luv to get my hands on one of these engines. It revving up to 30k sounds like nothing else on earth. Amazing engine. Amazing sound. .
Thanks for this video. I confess I don't know much about the Import power trains? I worked for a MOUNTAIN MOTOR PRO STOCK team..830 ci Hemi. Whole different world??
Peter, its Crank Damper. To Dampen makes things wet. Crank Damper - damping - damped - damp English is stupid Your videos are great, love all the side-eyes you got. Innovators West makes a Viscous Fluidamper style unit. Fluidamper has gotten so large, they wont accept customer input or requests, and innovators west makes a similar product with customer level interaction and product improvement, wheres Fluidamper is too big to care/fail anymore, with OEM contracts with CAT, Lambo, Audi, Ford, Dodge and more.
Thanks for clarification! By the way the company you are refering to is Fluidampr. Not Fluidamper. I have had some of those Fluidampr on my 2JZ so maybe there is why i have some confusion as well :)
Were you surprised by all the carnage? People think that that stuff lasts, are definitely mistaken! It’s amazing how fast some of the guys still running small block Chevys go! Sometimes they make it through the weekend on one engine! But they are definitely not anything special! Top Fuel engine parts, usually they don’t get a dozen runs on cranks or rods! Great video... I'm the red Supra owner, next time come say hi. Big fan of your Supras!
Im Norwegian and I love mk4 Supra’s!!!

Riktigt välgjord video, intressanta synpunkter från dig Peter!
I love watching these 😍
I am getting ideas for more builds 😎

Very nice detailed commentary & footage.
Thank you super much for posting, I love these car tech breakdowns!
Thanks for the early coverage, favourite event of the year 👍
This is a perfect video in many ways. Im making swedish pyttipanna while watching wich makes it even better

Great video, finally someone show the engines and cars like it should.
Wonderful close detail. Thanks!
Always a great video Peter, thank you for the sharing
didnt expect to see Cleetus' Mullet in this video
Good
Jaymz Mullet
Cleetus just posted a video of him making his first pass in Eagle and running Mullet with its old big block engine
@@normanvapes9197 okay?
Why not. If he wanted to push his views he should have got a video of eagle and had that as his thumbnail
First time watching this channel. Surprised by how much access the teams gave. Nice!
So much detail. Thanks King!
Thank you great Video!!!🔥🔥🔥
Great video!! Love the details you take time to show. Looks like the closest thing to being there.. thanks
Amazing video, well put together ❤
Also loved how you showed he staging process its like art
It’s amazing how much faster a car looks on a drag strip than on a wide open runway.
Great footage brother.
these builds man, hooolyyyyyy, people should wear special threads under shoes have some small plastic studs you dont get stuck there like flies

I had heard that the owner of the green s2000 had switched over to a Chevy LS motor. Maybe he switched back to the 4 cylinder for WCF

My Boy Cleetus Mcfarland is there right now and going to bring some world cups home with him like he did last year and year before that.
Cleetus kör inte SMX längre han gick tillbaka till gamla setupen då det var för mycket motor för chassiet. 😂 bra video 👌
You should buy another Supra and build it into a stock looking monster 😎

Ja precis så! Men när jag spelade in videon hade han det. SMX motorerna verkar tyvärr inte hålla ihop för drag and drive.
