You are amazing!! I have been trying to understand these cases from different people and different channels and you are by far the best. Before, I thought I'd never understand them because they seemed so complicated but you make them sound so doable. Thaaank you!!
You're welcome! They definitely take some practice. They are so second nature to native Russians that sometimes they don't describe them in a way that non-natives understand. I'm not saying my method is best, it's just what worked for me.
Please keep these videos going! You are an excellent teacher and these videos are beautifully made. I appreciate them and value them. Thank you! Спасибо!!
+Amanda Wells Спасибо большое! I hope to have more videos coming this summer. I'm teaching a full load right now and haven't had a chance. Anything in particular you'd like help on? I'm taking requests.
+College Russian well! because of you cases are much easier!! I completely understand them! but now I have big troubles with verbal aspect. perfective and imperfective verbs. :/
+Amanda Wells Yes! Those will continue to be difficult for some time. I'll do some videos on them this summer which will hopefully help to clear things up. Keep working hard. It will all eventually start to make sense.
Really helpful tutorial. I've been learning Russian with Duolingo - which is great but it doesn't explain the grammar clearly. Your video does ... One case down ... five to go ! Lets hope the rest are this easy ! :)
Очень интересно посмотреть как вы мучаетесь, изучая русский язык. Для меня, ресскоговорящего, кажется это всё элементарно и просто, но для иностранца это целая наука. Делается акцент на малозначительные нюансы, на которые можно не обращать внимание, но видимо для вас они очень важны. It's pretty funny to see this lesson for Russian native.
Yeah, that's right. We use "на" instead of "в" with some words. They are usually geographical regions, islands etc. Prepositions in Russian sometimes don't make sense even for us native speakers. But it's not a big mistake, that's fine if you say "в Украине" or "в кухне".

Hi!
Your way to explain the difficult topic on Russian cases is unique and so straightforward!
I finally got the idea behind them.
Thanks always!!!
This is the best video I have found for explaining a case, Please make videos for the other cases!!!!
Coming soon!
your videos are well explained and easy to listen. (I'm not an English native speaker)
Thank you for keep making more video!
Excellent lecture! You made the prepositional case so simple and interesting. Brilliant job. Please make videos for the rest of the cases. Many thanks
This is so good teaching..
Thank you Janey, I really picked up a lot in this video. The sample dialogues help to put things together
Too bad you didn't continue the videos with the other cases. Great video. Hopefully you will continue.
Working on it as we speak!

this was nice while it lasted
Thanks for this.
It's engaging, especially from an American accent.
Keep up the vids. :D
V.S. Castle Americans speaking Russian sound much better than British or Europeans speaking it. Even polish people!
Matt Bryan Don't say that. I know a lot of Dutch They speak Russian without a accent. Maybe because of Peter the Great.😂
Молодец Жанна !!!!
This lesson was so helpful! Where can I find more?
I will be starting back up shortly. Anything you'd like help with in particular?
Очень хорошо!! Спасибо 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Are you going to do the other cases at some point?
Coming soon!
You are amazing
spectacular video!!!
Your lessons are great!! Are there more?
I'm in the process of making more and updating my website. Any specific topics you'd like to see covered?
Thank you

Хорошо 🙆🙌🏾🤗🔥
What about words that end in И like Найроби (Nairobi the capital of Kenya)?
Cities ending in O, У, and И don't change. :)
Cпасибо!

I think it's "на Украине" and "на кухне". i stand to be corrected though, i'm a lower intermediate level Russian language learner.
