Subhan’Allah just to add to what the Sheikh is saying if you search the top 10 humanitarian crisis’s in the world right now, whichever website or charity you go too at least 6-7 of those countries are Muslim countries and even the countries that are not Muslim have at least a 30% Muslim population such as Ethiopia. Your Muslim sisters in these countries are been sold for rice and milk while the Ulama are on the internet refuting each other from warm and comfy sofas. May Allah forgive us 🤲🏾

Salam my brother, I watch you from the states and I like your good dawah, Alhomdulilah. I'm also African American, I have a question for you. Where in the Quran does it say anything about Salafi? I believe in Allah and his messenger (s.a.w.) and when we start putting titles on this beautiful deen we give room for Shataan to come in and start fitnah. I think a Sunni (Traditional, No adding or taking away) is the only term for believers should use.
May Allah reward you brother, the scholars mention that there is no harm in using the term salafi so long as you are not using it as a way to disparage others and create a new sect. If what you intend by calling yourself salafi is the true meaning of the word, i.e to differentiate yourself from those following a path other than the way of the messenger then this is perfectly fine. And with respect, it does not matter what you think, Islam is based on revelation, not our opinions.
