So, I recently got this Buzz quiz game and it took me about 40 minutes to get the buzzers to work properly. There are no real steps on the internet showing how to do it properly. Even the videos on youtube just show them already synched. Hopefully, this helps others by not wasting 40 minutes of their lives.

OMG Thankyou!! I tried a couple of years back to get these working again with no success. I was actually looking around to buy some new ones but they were always quite expensive so just didnt bother.
For some reason I packed mine away and just found them out, so I gave it another go....found this video and got them working again!

I was having a chill out party with my three best friends last Winter, playing games we used to back in the days and we just couldn’t figure out how to get all 4 buzzer connected. That was annoying as hell. I will try to setup with your tutorial the next time we meet. Peace!

Cool video (I'm planning on buying the wireless buzzers), but.. Do you have to do this every time you start a game up? I'm curious to see if my 5 year old will enjoy some of these Buzz games, but syncing every time.. Hmmmm : )

There seems to exist 2 versions of the wireless Buzzers, either manufactured by Logitech or by Namtai which can be identified by the existence of the power button or not (Namtai and Logitech respectively). It should also be written as the manufacturer on the back of the dongle. The Logitech controllers obviously connects in a different way, but I haven't found out how. If someone knows how, please comment below.
Personally I have bought the buzzers without the power button, but the dongle says Namtai, so I'm a bit worried that I got scammed when buying the thing.
Is there a way around if you have lost your USB adapter. Would a universal one work?

Hello, how i Synch a new buzzer if i have already connect 2 buzzers? for example, if we are two playesr but we want to add a new player, how i connect the new buzzer? when i try connect a new one, the others disconnect.. and is anoying to connect all the buzzers again
When i click the pen it stand om blue ligth and the controllers desconect

I have a buzz usb stick and 4 controllers. Non of them have a power button or sync button. I was about to replace one og the buzzers but I have nowhere to sync them. Do someone know how to sync buzz controllers withouth sync buttons or powerbuttons?

I have that model as well (with no power button). I have no idea how they are supposed to be synced or powered on for that matter.

Hi, I just got a set of Buzzers + USB Dongle. I follow the steps, the big red button doesn´t stay lit and whenever I press a button, the light on the USB Dongle doesn`t show any light. what version of PS3 software do you have ? I`m thinking it might have to do with that but I can be mistaken

@@champlainscrap6076 Thank for answering. I meant the version of the PS3 Software not the Dongle, my PS3 has the latest (4.86). I hope that my Dongle is broken and it's not a PS3 issue. Thanks again :D
@@juliothebatery It shouldn't make a difference. These are just really difficult to get working. If you got them used from someone else, they might be defective
I had the buzzer but not the dongle, where can I find it?
I did everything this video has said and whenever I try to connect the dongle to the controllers, the dongle works and turns on but all the controllers turn off. I don’t know what to do because I’ve done the same thing 3 times with the same result
It took me about 15 tries before I got it to work :( . these were no made well at all. Also it could be that there is some kind of issue with your controllers and dongle. very hard to say
Whenever I hold the button down in the USB it blinks but Jen a solid blue… it doesn’t go back to the black

When I get the continuous blue light on all of them and then turn the blue light on the USB the red buzzer does flash but then they all go off again. Can anyone help ?? Thanks

I had exactly the same problem, my buzzers flashed and turned off when I pushed the button on the dongle.
I fixed this by opening the USB dongle (there are only a few plastic clips that hold it together), then I removed it from its housing and resoldered the 4 pins from the USB connector to the board on the upper and the lower side.
Took me 5 minutes and now its working properly again 👍
This is the best answer! I have the same problem, one of the four pins or the USB port was a bit loose on the board. I will also plumb the four pins

I did all of these in row said. But still the game connot proceed. No buzzer found screen. Spent 2 hours without any success

Hi, i have used buzz before, for some reason it stopped working, l think the wee pendrive that is connected to the console is not working
It's hard to know for sure. Also not very easy to find a replacement of one of those USB dongles

If you get lucky, you might find one in ebay for $20. Usually if someone post them is for $30 or $40. Im actually looking for one also.
Does buzz controllers work on ps5 and ps4?
Do these woro on ps2 and omce they are scynded is it easier to connect them?
I've never tried them on the ps2. I know the ps2 has its own wired version. If i remember correctly, you have to synxh them everytimw you use them.

I just tried it as soon as i get the light on the usb the light on my buzz remote goes out and it wont work. Any suggestions i cant get it to connect
Not sure. All I know I that after like 30 minutes I came up with this video :).
Elyce - I had the same thing. What worked for me, is doing the process of turning on the controllers then holding bind BEFORE starting the game. At first I was loading the game, then doing it...and the lights would always go out after binding.
What I mean by “before the game starts”, is do it before even clicking on Buzz to start the application. So do it after turning on the PS3 and still just in the system menu. The lights will still go out after binding, but once you begin to load the game it will flash whenever you press the buzzer.

This is definitely the way to do. Took me like 45 minutes and worked every time after that. Unless you have a different model or your controllers do not work. Keep on trying, I'm sure it will work you just have to time things right.
