    Hey PawPaw , are you sure we didn't learn that in the Army ????? LOL LOL LOL !!!!!!! I have been doing that since I was a teenager and believe me that there were a couple of times that it went sideways because we put a little too much either/starting fluid !
    Thanks soo much for the video ! I can't wait until you show them how to replace the back tires on that gem of yours ! man wil that be a fine backhoe when you are done !

    I have done that more then 100 times on tractors and truck tires some on dump truck tires. I spray it more to the inside of the tire instead of the outside but looks like you had fun.

    Sometime it comes back off the bead if you take to long getting air in, so be ready with the air. Have you tried the harbor freight manual tire machine? A handy tool to have around the shop. With practice it is easy to use.

    • @DoingItCheap
      @DoingItCheap  8 років тому

      Yes, I have two of them. And the weather was too nasty for my to haul my generator and compressor out there today. I have never had one slip back off the bead, but I have always been ready with the air hose to bring the pressure up to where it needs to be.

    This was fun and practical. Watch your channel a lot on UA-cam through Roku. Can't comment on your videos from there, though. Had to wait to get to my computer.
    Please keep these videos coming.

    I saw Noah Brown, one of the boys from Alaskan Bush People (Discovery TV) do this in Season 5, Episode 11, "Back in Browntown", but I like your demonstration much better - you used a lot more fire. I just today subscribed to your channel and I expect I will watch a bunch of your videos shortly. My wife and I love your part of Tennessee and enjoy your Tennessee outdoors, rivers, trails and woods.

    If starting fluid had the umph it used to . That much fluid would have blown the tire across the camera. at least it wasnt the 2 piece rim.

    • @DoingItCheap
      @DoingItCheap  8 років тому +1

      I used to wrap those two piece rims in log chains before filling with air. We had inflation cages in the Army Guard for the truck tires.

    Well at least you didnt drill holes & fill it with expanding foam. I also us the starter flouid trich & it works well just make sure you stand back or you will get a quick shave (ask me how I know).

    Hi Paw Paw, do international shirt buyers pay the same price as US buyers?

    • @DoingItCheap
      @DoingItCheap  8 років тому

      There may be a dollar or two difference because of postage, but I would really like to sell them internationally for the same amount because I truly appreciate my international subscribers.

    just saw this and I figured you were going to use the starter fluid and lighter BUT not that way. I have seen where you spray the fluid inside the tire and when you touch it off it pops the tire back on the bead by way of the explosion of the gas burning. I like you way MUCH better
