to think that there's a real good chance that "Billy" actually escaped and lived a full life just makes this ten times better. the mystery behind if its true or not just amazes me.
Found the movie "Old Henry" this evening coz i had run out of horrors to watch. Watched it three times. Stories of Billy the Kid escaping his mythical early death have been seaping out the interwebs lately... Last i read n heard.. he lived to a good ripe old age and died of natural causes. Then again- such times, such people - only remain in our cultures and lexicon because of the stories we keep telling, revising and debating on them. Anyone catch his son's name "Wyatt" ? (a possible New Mexico linkage) Either way.. Jordan Lehning- did an awesome job with this score- (i love this track!) I hope he gets credit for it.. and Tim Blake out did himself totally!!- He deserves the accolades and all sorts of awards- including the Academy Award.
What a wonderful piece of music for a fantastic movie. This is the best Soundtrack for a movie i've heard the last years. I had tears in my eyes at the last Scene. 😭
No better last words a father could give to his son. "I don't believe in redemption, but a man can find some kind of solace if he's got a boy like you to raise. The world is changing. Go see it. It's a place I don't belong in anymore, but I'm hoping you do."
That scene touched me profoundly. Love the very fact that it keeps his style of sobriety and no nonsense. He does not fall into corny or soft words. Yet , it conveys such a deep message of love. He departs life in peace and telling his son how much he loves him
The scene when they show the wanted paper on the floor literally gave me goosebumps, that’s how great of a western this is and needs to be shown bigger!!
I'm currently experiencing a period in a place where I like it, where I am satisfied, although I will have to leave this place soon. This place will forever remind me of this very powerful song. I can't help myself
One of the best movies ever. Tim Blake Nelson should receive any awards he's nominated for and Stephen Dorff is one of the ten best actors alive today. His range is awesome.
Great movie.... Even more than that... this is a masterpiece! If I listen to this track once Without any choice..... I'm dragging it back to 1:30 And then ,a half hour later I get a chance to move on!!! I love this brilliant masterpiece! AAA+++
This film teaches us about the father who became a criminal in his past. a father figure does not want his son to be a criminal like himself and teaches about a better life. ❤️❤️
Watches this movey just yesterday and really liked. Came here to bring a reflection that perhaps lot of you find strange , but give a thought about it. The final scene with Henry dying and this wonderful piece of music in the background , reminded me of the final scene in HEAT, when De Niro has been shot in the outskirts of LAX airport by AlPacino. He is sure about his death but he departs this life with no regrets or remorse , nor anger toward Al Pacino (the cop who finally got him). He understands the life he has lived and how this outcome may happen sooner or later. I’ve listened the Heat song ( “God moving over the face of the waters”) and it indeed reminded me of this beautiful piece.
Hated the ending kill by a no name sheriff trying to make a name for his self what’s so crazy I was just down there on the property in watertown where they filmed it didn’t notice it until I watch the movie wow
Tim Blake should be an Oscar Nominee. He looked and acted every whit the part. Amazing performance!
Absolutely
Completely agree!! He was simply super
This movie was so good and the score, even better. The Grave Stone was my favorite track from the movie.
Every Western fan should watch this movie. Amazing.
Old Henry was a fantastic drama! Best I've seen in a few years.
Always love a good western and this is the best one to come along in a while.
So under rated, Old Henry is an amazing film. Tim Blake gives an epic performance
Not underrated at all, it has a rotten tomatoes score of 96% and even the audience score is at 91%
One of the best westerns ever made

Beautiful piece. Truly captures the film. Should go down as one of the best westerns imo.
I'm glad Billy lived as long as he actually did..wanted peace. And normalcy. All who know and have been obsessed with the man understand.
Totally agree, music like this just defines and bring more meaning to the story line, modern western but feels like a clsssic with these soundtracks

Life time No.1 movie, thank you

Excellent movie! Wish there were more like it.

The music is so good
The self conscious and deep seated calm of this film is what makes this a masterpiece.
I love this movie. Dios bendiga el Western!
I'm currently experiencing a period in a place where I like it, where I am satisfied, although I will have to leave this place soon.
This place will forever remind me of this very powerful song. I can't help myself

Waou, quel film et quelle musisue .
Tim Blake est impressionnant !!
This will be my cremation song something my physical self can leave this place on.
Boyds journey, the end score on ravenous soundtrack. I like your style for a send off track though. Long live Steve Zammit 👍

To me this film was better.

Une musique qui fait réfléchir
About what?
love
Filme, fotografia e trilha sonora perfeitos.
Todos deveriam assistir.❤
Henry slayed me when he came across that bag of money. He knew the problems it would bring. He just looked at it, and said "Nope", and walked away.
I think he went back for it because it was just in his nature, he couldn’t not.
Hated the ending kill by a no name sheriff trying to make a name for his self what’s so crazy I was just down there on the property in watertown where they filmed it didn’t notice it until I watch the movie wow

I wonder that Billy the kid has actually survived and escape from pat garrett. An lived a full life.
Those who win history write it. My guess is no.
@@corning1that's not true
@@potatoSaladMonkeyCats what isn’t.
YESSSSS. Idc who you are or what you think you know or researched on. Billy was let go and im glad he lived beyond 1881. Poor guy just wanted peace.
