You’re so fortunate to live in Canada. The US is woefully inadequate when it comes to parental and maternity leave.
I'm so jealous of the benefits you have. It's odd to me as an American to think that a government would want to take care of its citizens. That's foreign to us, unfortunately.

In South Korea it’s that way also. There is so much support to families. American is trash. Lol

I'm glad you mentioned the Mongolian birth marks. My daughter's were faint and disappeared fairly quickly. My nephew's were more prominent and lasted well into his toddler years and looked similar to bruises. The day care actually contacted the Department of Health and Human Services with a possible abuse concern.😮 My sister had to have his pediatrician make note in his medical records.

Wow, big updates for the girls, and your extended family. The girls were so happy to have bunk beds, what a lovely surprise, maybe you could fix a bed guard rail onto the top bunk for extra safety. Its so nice that you get to be at home bonding with your baby, recovering from birth, and getting rest during the day, your country values the importance of family bonding, and gives the financial support to help you out. Its so important, children grow so quickly, but at least you have those happy memories, and time well spent, also good for parents mental health, and emotional wellbeing x
LOL no wonder Justin fainted in the delivery room. You talking about baby number four and you had just popped out baby number three. 😂😂😂
68.5 week maternity leave???? I WISH! In the States a woman get 6 weeks UNPAID leave and only paid leave if you earned vacation time while you were working...
My first child was born with a dimple and discoloration and a pocket right before the start of his bottom. The diagnosis was Spina Bifida occulta. There is also a medical term that I don’t remember right now. He was doing fine until he was 14 years old and ended up having spinal surgery. Kaiser misdiagnosed him after he was born. I had to keep this tiny pocket clean all of the time because I didn’t want any poop to get caught there.
He’s fine today and he’s in his forties and a dad too.
Make sure to explain to the girls why they can’t jump on the top bunk….tell them they’ll hurt their heads really bad. I’m a pediatric nurse and I’ve seen a couple of kids that injured themselves by jumping on the top bunk bed. You can buy a toddler bed rail guard if you’re concerned about your daughter falling out the bed. They’re not that expensive.

Yassss! Baby number 4. I regret not having more kids. I have two and they are 7 years apart. I regret that age gap also. My kids are not close at all. So, have the 4th child and close in age like you are doing it. I’m happy for you both. ❤

Don't rush retirement. Just enjoy this time. I really hate that your dad and Justin's family are so disconnected since your marriage. However, I encourage you to continue living your lives on your terms. I remember your visit, sadly, he used his faith as a barrier to allowing you to live your purpose. I am a Christian and don't understand the concept of using religion in a hateful and negative way. People have the right to live as they please.

Sarah, even though you know your dad, I tend to agree with Justin. If the issue of Justin converting to Islam was a point of contention and your father sees that Justin will not convert, I would say that there is still a little resentment in your father’s mind. And it’s not just that religion. There are people in other religions that will not accept the fact that their children have married out of their faith. We can only hope that those family members will come around. My opinion is that love has no boundaries, religious or otherwise. It only matters that you care and love each other deeply.

Sarah, as a parent, I understand your worry and anxiety about switching your children to another day home (in the US, we call it daycare) but children are a lot more adaptable than we give them credit for.

Check out Spinal Bifida Occulta, a benign condition. Also, MTHFR as a cause. This is an enzyme deficiency resulting in low folate.
We bought a new car in Oahu, HI , July 2021 and there was less new cars available then , Used cars prices were high then too. I spoke to our salesperson recently he said there is a lot of inventory now. the car we were interested in was reserved so we put in a order for a newer model , fortunately for us the reserved one became available so we were able to purchase the car we were interested in ;) . sooner.

My sister was born with spina bifida occulta, she has led a normal life, worked as a nurse, had 3 healthy children. She gets occasional back pain which could be related to SBO or just life. She’s never needed any treatment.
It’s the same thing in the UK used cars are more expensive than new cars …it’s a global issue…. I went to sooo many dealers to get my car an SUV 🚙 and it was just zero…..whilst at a dealer one came in I grabbed it🎉🎉🎉 no regrets…

I believe Justin is right to err on the cautious side about Sarahs father's reticence towards him. Sarah is so hopeful and positive though, it's contagious so ...perhaps?🤞🏼 "One more baby and they'll have to throw it in the boot!" Nooo! The waiting list gives you perfect timing for the 4th 😉 What will be, will be 😊Vancouver, England the Philippines, the family is growing up and spreading out it's a natural progression and wonderful for travelling opportunities. The bunk bed is great I, loved mine and my sisters it was fun. Children fall over but they get up dust themselves off and they're good to go again and Sabrina is sensible, she listens and she knows there will be consequences if she doesn't.

My six month old has the same sacral dimple as well, Dr, did an ultrasound to check and everything was fine thank God.

Thank God i only had one child and that is all i wanted one boy and i got just what i wanted first time out the gate. He will be 39 the end of this month and he is an amazing man i am truly blessed.

I really don’t understand why people currently behave this way. I was brought up Catholic and married a non Catholic man. I’m Caucasian and he’s Korean. My parents weren’t bothered by this in 1975.
My daughter married a man who is Indian ( originally from India ) and he is such a good dad and husband to my daughter.
I never look at their ethnicity or religion. I’m much more interested in how they are as a partner and mother or father. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter.

Some people are so "dedicated" ( being polite here) to their religion and beliefs that they can't see outside of it. Plus their interpretation of their religion tends to be a bit more rigid,which doesnt allow for the flexibility in mindset and acceptance of others choices that disagree with theirs.
@@lusimyer I understand that because there was a time that I’m sure my mother wanted me to eventually marry a Catholic and my ex husband’s mom wanted him to marry an Asian woman.
The good thing was that they accepted me and my parents accepted my decision not to marry someone Catholic.
