I've been doing
3.9/4.2 stroke 7V for lining.
2.8/3.2 stroke 5V for shading.

My machine.. well battery I should say only goes down to 4v.. if I'm lining at 4ish what should my shading volt be? I typically run lines 5.5-6 and shade 4-4.5 ish. My machine is a Ambition torped that I run with a 4.0 stroke

You should absolutely not be lining at 4v

Never tell someone that something is too low, people get the best results from what works for them. It’s definitely not the same with everyone man
