    Daniel I can't thank you enough for this video! I have been noticing my line work has been becoming more consistent and this is exactly what I needed to have in the back of my mind as a check list to ensure I can find that balance. I always enjoy the time-lapses, and the follow along, but when the beefy information videos come out those just can't be beat! Thank you for this Daniel you are appreciated! Blessings to you and your family brother!

    Thank you for sharing this. I had 2 tats done last Aug & Sept on my arm and she was an apprentice still for almost 13 months with art design degree in various mediums & a multipotential individual (various types of art from pottery to oil paintings etc). She did a good job but even after going for touch-ups in Oct it still looks faded. One is a black wrist tat with semi-colon, heartbeat and ends with an open-ended heart and the bigger piece is a black with pink, purple Phoenix that's not vibrant at all. I've used Hustle butter and I do use a daily moisturizer as well -always have and do protect from sun as well since I live in the south now. I'm debating on if I should go back to her for a 'do-over' or go elsewhere. My son gets his 1st tattoo in a week and the artist said he could redo/recolor mine as well. Any thoughts on this? I'm open to suggestions/ideas. Thanks.

    I see this, and I also have seen the slicing in my face skin. Unfortunately, I think I have too thin of artificial skin. It seems to be about 1 mm. Could you recommend a decent "real" fake skin? Also, I have a couple of what most would call "simple," tribal designs, and I was wondering if you could recommend proper size needles for those and proper shades, mags, etc.? I can send you the designs if you'd really like to be specific but I'm sure you have probably encountered these and even more...lol.! Thank you brother and keep up the AWESOME tutorials!!!!

    Ok I’ve been practicing neo trad on fake skins and have been lining with a 9rs but I can’t seem to get a solid color, it always shows up as three like tight lines. Is this just Bcs fake skins kinda suck or is it my positioning

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  6 місяців тому +2

      That is a great question. If I am understanding you correctly it can be because our hand speed is too fast. It can be our needle depth maybe too shallow. Our voltage can be low. It is really hard to say but these are some of the main reasons that came to my mind. Fake skin also does accept ink differently from human skin so it is a bit hard to actually say without seeing.

    Quick question why are you running the volts lower for a smaller liner. I get what you said about about less mistakes but is there a reason smaller liners are ran slower and would you do the same witha 5rl as I find running a 9rl at 8.5V comfortable but with the 5 and 3rl is feels abit too aggressive for that liner. Same with the hang I always float my needle but going from a 9rl to a 3rl I find my hang is too long would you suggest adjusting the hang for smaller liners?

    • @joshbacino4975
      @joshbacino4975 5 місяців тому

      Run the volts lower for smaller liners because they are more "aggressive" can cause damage trauma to skin faster.

    • @justinsmet
      @justinsmet 2 місяці тому

      3rl and 5 round liner I ussualy run about 5.5 to 6.5 volts

    • @마린-p2l
      @마린-p2l 25 днів тому

      The smaller the needles are the more they can cause trauma to the skin cuz the needles are pulling into a tighter place. Slowing it down helps not getting blow outs! The smallest the sharpest!

    I dont get it: if its this hard to actually be a good tattooer, then why are people basically "not allowed" to learn? I mean its impossible to get into a tattoo shop to be an apprentice..... This is probably whats causing people to start on thier own and "put a bad name" on the industry. Including myself....altho I did not dare to touch real skin just yet.
