Fortunately for me, I am completely happy with Chinese homage watches. I have no desire to spend thousands, tens of thousands of dollars on watches. It makes absolutely no sense to me unless you are incredibly wealthy and money is just no object. For me, it's the look of the watch that matters not the name that is on it. There has never been a better time to be a budget/affordable watch collector. Affordable watches are so well made these days that it absolutely makes no sense to spend thousands just for the name on the watch.

I hear you! People are surprised almost every time they get there first PD on the Quality. There expecting the quality to be terrible but usually people are incredibly surprised for the quality even those who own Rolex and are being completely honest and confident with there preference say that the quality is a alot better then they expected. I have been reformating my thoughts on how I’m going to decide to add to the collection moving forward and the longer times goes on the less I want to go after typical Luxury brands and more of what I call independent brand luxury”

@Skyler.Santana When I listen to you, you sound a lot like me. When I first started collecting watches many years ago, there were no Chinese watches, at least as far as I was aware. Luxury watches like Rolex and Omega was what I aspired to and lusted after. But being that I was young, I just didn't have the money for. As I got older I did have the money but still couldn't justify the expense with kids and and a family to support. Then I became aware of Chinese watches and after much hesitation bought my first one and have not looked back. They're not the only watches I own but make up the bulk of my homage collection. I don't walk in circles where I have to impress anyone so I am completely happy wearing my Rolex and Omega homage lookalike watches. When I think about how much money I would have had to spend to own the real watches it blows my mind. It would be well over $100,000! I can't justify spending that kind of my on watches. It just does not make any sense. The quality of Chinese watches today is pretty impressive and I have no idea how they make any money with how cheap they sell them for. It's a great time to be a budget/affordable watch collector though.
