Well what can we say! Thank you so much for creating such an incredible design for our table runner, we absolutely love it and it's quite a talking point when people visit our house. It's also great to be able to see the creation in the video. Perfectly complements the table.. Totally unique!
What a lovely piece! Nice to see somebody who doesn't build over dimensioned. Very tasteful. A note for your own safety. Personally i never work with epoxy without a respirator and gloves and i never sand it without a facemask.
You've done some great pieces but this is really outstanding. The depth of the pink/purple section really draws you in, and the pure clean shininess of the black on the outside ensures that the beautiful grain in the wood still gets appreciated. This is a real stunner!
Looks awesome! I like how you made it as a runner to go on top of the table instead of the actual table itself. Great machines too - I can tell you have helical heads in them - so much quieter! Keep on making cool stuff, cheers!
Wow! This is one I missed! Stunning piece once again. I've just finished a clear resin encapsulated English Walnut Burr coffee table. I seemed to get a great finish on it very easily after I changed from 3M Finesse It, to the PAI NW-1 you're using in this video! I did try the Finesse It afterwards, as what I thought would be a finer finishing polish, but there was virtually no difference.
My build videos are more for viewing by the masses, there are lots of non english speaking viewers and also people that just enjoy watching. I do have a shop update weekly (lots of taking) and also tech taking videos with tips of all things you see in my build videos , I have also started a Patreon page were I go into more detail and behind the scene with a little more taking ..
@@ManorWood where the page where you go inside detail what why og resin you to to pour over the cracks. And what type of resin are you using. I keep hearing to use casting resin but im a beginner and i would love to do this work
I really like how the epoxy has a nice luster as where the wood is more of satin finish. It really high lights the different colors within the epoxy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just beautiful, very creative design with the glass table top. I have a question. The bottom of your mould is polyurethane what are the side pieces? I have access to a good bit of European pine that is weathered and about thirty feet long. I want to make a dining room table from it and am curious for this reason.
Thank you. I would use an epoxy finish or a 2 pack. You then have the effect of the wood encased , the finish here you have more natural looking wood look with resin effect
You did a really nice job on your wood piece. I was wondering if you have plans for that hydraulic table tapped, you use quite a bit. I would like to make one. If so what do you charge for the plans. Once again you do a fantastic job, keep up the good work.
Hi, your work is awesome. May I ask you what kind of polish or what did you use to finish resin? ( on 10:15 is resin surface still little bit dirty but 10:20 its perfect polished) Thanks for answer. Cheers
i love your workshop setup and work. I've been working as a purpose made joiner for the past 12 years, if you had to put a rough price on a set up like yours minus the workshop rent electric etc. How much would you say it would cost?
its very had to say lots of tools I have owned for years!! but the new 3 phase machines 20k ish.. my shops at home so no rent/rates . finding the my home with an almost ready made 3 phase shop has completely changed my plans and why I was able to buy the machines this year.. its maybe 2 years rent total :)
Great work. well done. can I ask what the seal is that you use on the edges for not making gas, I tried once on a project it started to making gas with million tiny bubbles. thanks
Soooo beautiful!!! May I ask.. did you alter the wood any,, like burn, color it black where you applied the pink? Because it looks blackened and I wonder if it would have the same effect on an area that wasn't so dark.. Because it is absolutely stunning..Thank You very much for the video.
@@ManorWood awesome. Ill keep that in mind. As i have a project coming up involving the use of resin what did you use to seal the edge before pouring. Just a light coat of the same resin?
Can you tell me where you found those leveller/planer machines? I'm moving to the UK from the USA and need to source some machines... The table you created looks fantastic!
Yes , i said this before as have other the bigger and sometime more expencise tools just make it quicker which bring the price of the piece down to sell and helps you make a profit .

Great to see the boundaries of traditional woodworking being pushed into new dimensions! The results must be immensely satisfying! Great Work!

Thx , Glass cast is ok , not a nasty Epoxy like many other are out there

Ok that colour is insane
Your shop always makes me green with jealous rage! You are a blessed man, thanks for sharing
Very nice! Love the pinkish (instead of blue all the time) and black...looks like blackberry!
That pink and black combination looks like the beautifull universe

You mention the sanding looks good. Can you show up close what your sanded epoxy looks like between grits?
Thanks

Check that colour out! That black and purple mix turned out amazing
Absolutly great work! Full of inspiration for my next project. What was the white powder you mixed to the pink colour?
I like how you brand you emblem into the piece

Amazing work. Looks beautiful
Fantastic finish, great workshop. 👌
Thats a awesome table
Absolutely Beautiful! Well Done!
Magnificent article.
Smile ... you have to come to Germany to show me how to do that. I love that it looks amazing.
I like to try that ... but I'm sure I damage it. 🤣🤣🤣
I love this too. Can you tell me what you make your surround with to stop leakage bi have tried tape and failed miserably lol
Gorgeous projects, amazing shop. Well done!
Hello ManorWood! Nice artwork. What do you think about long term wood shrinkage will be affect to epoxy wood adhesion?
its fine , wood is nice a dry resin I use is very stable
looks awesome. but if one wants a superhigh gloss. what do you recommend for that?

You are an artist.
Absolutely incredible!
Nice gear you got.
Wow!! That looks so good nice job!
Hi, your work is awesome. May I ask you what kind of polish or what did you use to finish resin? ( on 10:15 is resin surface still little bit dirty but 10:20 its perfect polished) Thanks for answer. Cheers
Just a clean cloth , to get the final polishes off..
+Manor Wood thank you
one more question please :) what rotation speed do you use for final polishing?

Thanks for the reply but You listed pretty much everything except that one :)
Very nice!!

I didn’t alter the wood just polished with oil
Very attractive piece! Did it just sit on top of your glass table then?
Yes is a centre piece "table runner"
Прекрасная работа. Молодец.
Stunning!
Beautiful what was the white powder you put in the resin
wow the end product is awesome , great job
Thanks for Sharing
Great color choices!
You’re a genius..it’s beautiful
How strong is the bond betwee the resin and the timber. For example that black resin wouldnt break away from the timber easily?
Very strong , if you tried to break it off the Walnut would break!!

The table you created looks fantastic!
which one do you mean ?
I'm looking for a machine that can level slabs of wood... Wide, like 75cm wide. Thanks!
@@ManorWood
Very Arty and Creative👍😀
Cheers!
Nice piece, very nice
Love your works, what grit are you sanding to before applying the wipe on poly?
320 on the wood but you need to take the resin to 2000 so finish the wood first the keep going on the resin
Awesome thank you.
Awesome, nice work..!
Fantastic nice work 👍👍
Beautiful piece of work.
So is it possible to get into this hobby without having 100k worth of tools?
Yes , i said this before as have other the bigger and sometime more expencise tools just make it quicker which bring the price of the piece down to sell and helps you make a profit .
What Pink colour do you use? can u give me the link, pls :) ...it looks great!
you can find all the links here.. ua-cam.com/video/gmyFmg6h-30/v-deo.html
Beautiful! What is the name of the tape you use before the first pour? Thanks.
Linked in description
That is a stunning piece! Subbed!
Welcome Jeff :) we have a growing community so good to have you onboard.
WOW!! LOVE IT!!!
What is the name of that bond between the risen and the wood?
Glasscast 50
I hope i have the same result on my future project it's so perfect oO
That is appsolutly gorg
Hi nice work as usual, which colours did you mix to get the pink ? Was it all from Easy Composites?
It’s my own colour I mixed a batch a while ago
So you can pour the epoxy in and then the wood!! Is there an advantage to this method???
Less trapped air
Cool thank you and how do you cut that poly into strips?????
No seal coat before pouring.?!
Nop
@@ManorWood That's kinda scary...lol
How much would something like that cost to buy. It's very impressive
Why do you use a vacuum on the epoxy if you don’t mind me asking?
check this video - ua-cam.com/video/X_ZjktABffQ/v-deo.html
Wow thanks for the tip, and great videos👍
You get any Snype on that planer?
None !
Daaamn
god I really want all those Festools and that Felder combination saw but I'm poor.
How about you make a PC computer case the same way?! Its a challenge! :)
Funny I have been asked to quote for a liquid cooled PC set up .. we will see
Stunning matey...👍👍👍👍👍...
This one I really like!
How did you make the pink swerly?
Its part of the resin mix . I mix up lots of colour to make final mix.. I have videos on this . Best
I found myself saying over and over, "That's the biggest (insert shop tool here) I've ever seen!"
Amazing. Had to watch it in 2x speed tho.
BRAVO MATE! WELL DONE... #ManorWood, @ManorWood.
What type of color pigment you use?
Black and I mix the pink myself
Whoa!
I didn't know you could Poly over epoxy?
neither did I, but we do now.
