I'm really sorry, I agree with everything in your comment but I just have to say since it's a pet peeve of mine when people misuse the term gaslighting, that Markus did not gaslight Simon, since that would mean that Simon would be doubting his sanity and sense of reality. Firstly, everybody needs therapy, so even though it wasn't voluntary for Wille, it's only beneficial for him to go. Secondly, Wille can still trust himself to interpret reality and still feel sane. He just feels massive amounts of pressure and anxiety, which is understandable. Don't get me wrong, I don't like the queen's treatment of Wille, but I would not call her actions gaslighting. I would recommend videos from the youtube channel Psychology in Seattle about this topic, since I feel he describes this topic very well!

Plus, the whole moment was mirroring the scene in season 1 the morning after Wille gets high at the football field and Simon spends the night in Wille's room. It was kinda like wanting to feel that moment again somehow.. but still. Anyway, can't wait for the next reaction to episode 4. As usual, this made my day.

So yeah, his hair IS darker but also the color changes slightly due to color grading or lighting of the scene.

I do know a few friends though whose hair goes much lighter in the summer months with all the extra sun and then darker again come the winter months. My own hair is very dark brown but gets these copper highlights when I’m out in the sun enough during summer and then they fade in winter. They totally dyed his hair though for season 2, no disputing that. He is like a hair chameleon he can rock almost any color and style and look like a different person. That’s a good thing in the acting world as it can keep you from looking exactly the same for every part you play.

When August got the first call to meet with the Queen, I knew there was NO way it was to reprimand him because if he was going to be reprimanded it would have happened way before that. I had a feeling it was a fake-out for the audience and it'd be about something entirely unrelated. That said, I *definitely* wasn't expecting it to be "Okay so you're next in line for the throne now actually," I'll be honest. This whole episode is a bit of a rollercoaster (as is most of this show tbh) And I agree, like I'm so invested in these characters at this point lol
I don't hate the Queen, tbh. I can see that she genuinely doesn't like August being the backup plan (and she can be seen trying to push Wille into his role in the next episodes) but she just doesn't have a choice because she's not just Wilhelm's mother, but also the Queen of Sweden.

When August got the first call to meet with the Queen, I knew there was NO way it was to reprimand him because if he was going to be reprimanded it would have happened way before that. I had a feeling it was a fake-out for the audience and it'd be about something entirely unrelated. That said, I *definitely* wasn't expecting it to be "Okay so you're next in line for the throne now actually," I'll be honest. This whole episode is a bit of a rollercoaster (as is most of this show tbh)
