I discovered a nice hack by accident. One time I lay a flat sheet bed, on the table, then I put my candles to be fill on there. They came out with no frost at all. I used Soy 464. I figured that the table is cold and the fabric helps to keep that warm temperature and that way the wax won't be shocked to be poured under a cold surface, I hope I making sense. Just put any type of fabric, should be a little bit thick, that's why I fold the bed sheet. Also for reference, could be a table runner or a fabric plate matt. Of course, that would be for glass containers, but I used it for tins too, maybe you won't get the shrink on the tins. Also lay then on fabric while storage. ❤️

So excited this brilliant wax is coming back! Hoping it arrives in Australia soon - I'm nearly out of my stockpile of the original q210 and I don't want to use anything else but EcoSoya! This was my wax in the past. This newer CB is indeed a bit different. I like the overall look of it but have noticed sweating when burning. Not sure what that is about, as I use 10% fragrance load.
I like this wax too. But my candles are sweating, and I cant seem to figure out the solution to stop the sweating. Do you have problems with this also?

Does anyone have experience in shipping this in warm/hot climate? The area I live in can get to around 90F, and I’m afraid the candles would melt during the shipping since it has such low melt point.
Hi, Thank you for the video. I've started using this wax and have made many trials with different wick sizes and types (wooden and cotton). My jar is 8cm diameter ~285g, I used up 6kg of wax and I still cannot get the right wick for this. Do you have a size for this size jar? I used the wood 12mm which doesn't burn to the edge and 16mm which leaves black soot on my jar. I also used the cotton HTP1312 and HTP XL100 and they both tunnel. I do not know what else to do for the wooden and cotton wicks. Could you please suggest maybe a different wick supplier which could help me with my candles. I do like the finish this wax leaves after burning but I simply cannot work the right combination. Please help!!
Please could you tell me what brand wick you use with this wax? I am having soo much trouble finding a good wick that does not mushroom whilst achieving the correct melt pool. 1 Month into testing and still not happy with burn. xx
I spend more money on wicks than anything else! So far the HTP wicks are working the best but they are not perfect. I have some Premier wicks on the way.
Where can I buy ecosoya wax in Canada ?? It looks like the only supplier is CandleScience, but they don't ship to Canada. I NEED this wax ! This is one of the most substainable wax according to my research.
For me it is worth it. I bought a large shipment and just to save me the trouble of dealing with fussy soy wax, it is worth it. Plus, I find that my end product is of higher quality ☺️ To each their research and what is best for me may not be best for someone else. It all comes down to testing, testing, testing! 🙌
Hi Arianne, I used to make candles with ecosoya and loved their wax also. It was by far the best, easiest wax I have used. After trying many waxes and without success, I kinda paused my production as I was never able to find a pillar, votive wax that was as good. Do they have the pillar/votive wax and does the duration of burning is as good? Not sure if you had a chance to try it... Where do you order your wax from?

Question from a fellow candle maker! Do you prefer your stock pot over getting a presto pot to melt your wax? I've been considering getting something larger to speed up my candle making process. Also, how do you avoid scorching your wax in your stock pot?
That is a lot of info about candles that people don't really know. I know too many people that just burn a candle without practicing candle care. It's definitely not common knowledge.

There is no supplier in Canada. You have to buy bulk, direct from EcoSoya as of now

Manufacturer states 48 hours before burn testing, hot throw keeps getting better with time. My sweet spot is between 7-10 days.
