    20:40 Hello po. Regarding po sa question ni Ina if kelangan ba na licensed Nurse ka sa Philippines para makapagapply ka ng NCLEX, ang answer po is yes and no po. Most states po requirement po na iverify yung PH nursing license of a foreign nurse applicant pero upon our research may isang state po which is New York po na pwede ka magapply ng NCLEX basta nursing graduate ka as long as they verified your foreign education. Hope this helps po.

    Mas madali talaga maging RN sa US. Sa Canada especially sa BC up to 2019 ata need mo mag acad IELTS na band score 7 or higher pa, or take CELBAN with a perfect score in listening. Then pag napasa mo un, that’s the time na pwede ka na mag take ng NCAS or un assessment exam ( computer exam and return demo). Then saka ka palang pwede magenroll sa bridging or un magaaral. ( usually 1 yr.) then after non saka ka palang magiging RN. Kaya iba nalipat nalang sa US. Mas madali ang process. NCLEX lang RN ka na. In my experience, inabot ako ng 4 yrs bago naging RN sa BC. Took the CELBAN, then NCAS tapos nagaral p for 1yr. 😢

    You really need to have a good basic learning in nursing and we have the same nursing curriculum kaya we need only NCLEX then reciprocity lang if you want transfer in another state and right now the starting basic pay is 50 to 70 dollars.The best really is to enjoy nursing saving life here healthcare has no waiting time because you pay while in Canada its social medicine is different but here theres charity so they bill you but you dont need to pay all at once

    As a canadian living here in US. There are a lot of Filipino Canadians RN going to US using TN visa. It is visa allocated to Canadian, American and Mexican through NAFTA. Days lang makukuha mo na ang TN visa as long as you have an employer sa US, Visa Screen (NCLEX and IELTS). Mostly galing sa Pinas coming to US are using immigrant visa Employment Visa.

    speaking of retiree pension, mas malaki ang SSA ng benefit ng US compare sa CPP ng Canada. you have to work 40yrs in Canada to receive the max CPP benefit of CAD$ 1300 (assuming youre contributing the max). sa US, 26 years lang ako nagwork but i'm receiving more than US$ 1600 SSA benefit as retiree.
    im my case, aside from 401K may company pension plan pa kami. i also have IRA ( individual retirement account). i have some pinoy friends na nag-retire na rin ang tumatanggap ng US$5000+ na umuwi na ng Pinas. they buy health insurance there so no need to go back to US every now and then to get medical service.

      a good example is myself. i worked 26yrs in the US and my ssa benefit is US$1600/mo @ age 62 while in the Canada where i worked for 5yrs, my cpp benefit is CAD$120/mo at age 65.

      Depende. Most migrate because they want a better life. Better healthcare is very subjective. May obamacare dito sa us where everybody has healthcare insurance coverage. Hindi sya free tulad ng canada but ang goal dito is para lang hindi ka maubos tulad sa pinas. Yes, may bayad ang magpagamot dito. Pero kaya mong bayaran and mabubuhay ka pa rin ng ayos. The US chose this way para di bumaba ang quality of healthcare dito sa us. And you can see that in the quality of care, hospitals and research dito. Point in case, nung covid. Sinong bansa ang nakadiscover ng effective vaccines sa pandemic?

    • @emelar185
      @emelar185 2 місяці тому +2

      im sorry to disagree. canada health care is not free. its like any other private insurance. the only difference is you pay the premium thru tax. its monopolized by the govt and the worst is the govt controls the expenses kaya hindi ka basta pwde pumunta sa specialized doctors not to mention the waiting time just to be admited kahit nasa emegency state ka na. may public or govt health care din ang bawat state ng US like for example is medicade/apple care of washington and medi-cal of california. i remember, cs ang panganay ko but i did not pay a single cent. may libre pang food para sa mag-ina ko for years.
      well, compare sa Phil, yes mas maganda nga ang health care ng Canada. but if you have money to buy your health insurance in the Phil, then you will be secured just like in the US and Canada. the only difference is, walang opportunity sa pinas ang ordinaryong mamamayan to earn enough to support a good standard of living and to buy insurances. yan ang talagang dahilan kaya tayo nasa abroad, bda?
