I went in 2010 with an individual tour that Took me into the house where a nice old lady (Margaret? Dont remember Exactly) served us tea and told stories with Ringo and the other Beatles
Agustin........I believe to be able to have a blue plaque placed, the person honored has to be dead for 20 years or have passed the centenary of their birth. We love Sir Richard Starkey, so we hope that doesn't take place for a long time!
Nice video . i was there in 2015. there used to live an old lady in ringos house who let visitors in. But when I was there the lady passed away 2 weeks before. Peeking through the window the house was empty. Hope it becomes museum one day.
In 2009 my wife, sister in law and I went inside and met the lady. She used to live a few houses down when Ringo lived there. She told us of his 21st birthday party, pre Beatles, when 80 people turned up including Gerry and the Pacemakers, Cilla Black etc. The front room is so small that 10 people standing would crowd it. We were on a Beatles tour in a taxi (Fab Cabs), and the driver arranged for us to go inside. A big day, as earlier we did the National Trust tour of John and Paul's homes. A tour party member played 6 McCartney songs on the piano in Paul's old front room. Then we attended the Beatles tribute concert at Echo Stadium that night. It turned out to be Beatles Day in Liverpool. We had booked the National Trust tour months before back in Australia, just happened to pick that day at random.
My family and I went to see George's house (totally unmarked) a couple of days ago and the people across the way closed the door when we walked up. I definitely got an annoyed vibe. Then again, how much could they really hate it, unless the visitors are rowdy? We were very quiet.
Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote a song specifically for Ringo called Snookaroo...had the 45 when I was little. "Two rooms up and two rooms down" are in the lyrics to the song, followed by "born in Queens on Halloween". So my guess is that, perhaps, they knew about Ringo's earliest home and just changed the location in the lyrics. When Ringo said, "Two up and two down..." I instantly thought of that song.

@@tinchomrv sounds great! I didn’t know about that tour
The people at the front door , talking to Ringo on the other side of the street seem so friendly, I bet that is a nice road to live in.
Yeah it seems a friendly area ! And not too far from the city centre :)
I’m also a Beatle fan. Thanks for the tour!
Thank you so much for watching!
👍🤗

Yes! That's how it works. That's also why Paul's house doesn't have one, Just John's.
Hopefully they’ll put one on George’s childhood home soon 💔
@@polytheneprentiss1534 They haven't?!
Just been here today and they now have cardboard covering the window downstairs. The Empress Pub with it's muriel looks FAB!

That's unfortunate :(

Now I see why it's not included on any tour. Thanks a million!
It is included
@@jm20w1 That's grand. Is it sth recent? Back in 2012 dunno if this tour existed.
:34 Love the guy stepping out and going back in. I bet the people living around all the Beatles old homes hate all the tourists.
Yeah 😂 I bet they do
The property owners won't it will add value to theirs 😆

Anyone know how many square feet that is?
Don't know but it's quite small. Of course in London it'd be over £2,000 a month lol
There should be a plaque put up.
Yea but the blue plaque means there dead but they put it up to remember them thats why on John Lennons House theres a blue plaque
Exactly, so it's a good thing there isn't a plaque!
I have another video about this house.
I'll check it out!

Which message you mine?lg Ellen, question about Ringo. ?
J. L. I have written with his Sekretärin...lg Ellen ✌❤🌹
Who is Ringo walking with his son is that man his stepfather?
これらの家は売れ始めて結構な時期に住んでいた、というのだから驚き。マネージャーとかもつけず独立して自身で稼ぐようになると、今現在のような邸に住めるのが、イギリス芸能人の掟のようなものなのか?
And all this time I thought Penny Lane was Ringo's girlfriend! 😆
😂😂
Hello Augustin
Have you becoming my message? Lg Ellen
Nothings up.. Everything is fine but thanks for asking
Ringo was there 17 years not 20
I knew Ringo was poor but I never knew he lived inside a potato
lol!
