- #ilovervlife #RockyTopCampground #TenneseeCampgrounds This was our first time in a campground specifically for ages 18 years old and older. The campground is located a few minutes off I-81 at exit 63, with the campsites resting on a gentle hill side. Our first impression was how well the grounds were maintained and the uncluttered surroundings around each RV, even for these cold winter months.

Love your videos. Thank you, Jerry.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video
Always. Appreciate you watching.
Hi I'm following you. Love Bristol Tennessee
Thanks. Me too!
We are on site 31 for the next 2 nights. Very nice campground.
Check out the Birthplace of County Music if you have a chance.
@@iLoveRVlife your not talking about Nashville are you? We just came from there.
No, that's the County Music Hall of Fame. This is in Bristol. Well done museum starting with the Victrola company 1927 Bristol Sessions recording the Carters and others from the area and creating country music to present day. 101 Country Music Way, Bristol, VA
@@iLoveRVlife Museum closed on Monday's. But have you guys been to the Blackbird Bakery? That is a must visit and try. So many different pastries and more to try.
Sorry to hear that. Blackbird is a must. A favorite.
Tennessee is my home and I think it is one of the most beautiful states. Northeast Tennessee is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for the walkthrough. Safe travels.
Thanks. Agree. My place of birth and still have deep roots there.
Check out little river campground in Townsend!
Thanks for sharing. We’ll check it out.
Was just there last wk.
Wait till you come to Tucson Az. a lot of 55 and over campgrounds. The one we will be staying in asking about kids, said we had dogs she said everyone has dogs.
Hoping to head west in the future.
Nice Jerry! Safe travels!👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
Have you tried the campsite at Graceland campsite. We love it there but we stay in the cabins.
We did several years ago. Did all things fun in Memphis. That was pre video.
Great ti have another post from you guys. I have plan a few trips from your post and I have not been disappointed. Thank you.
Thanks so much. Appreciate you watching.
Ben here a couple of times, agree it is a great place to stay. Owner is super nice, as you say. We just love adults only campgrounds.
It was a nice place. And they are continuing to make improvements. Look for to returning.
One day, we hope to RV-great to know there are some adult friendly campgrounds; congratulations on your new Montana-it’s lovely and a super choice; ty for sharing. Mike and Jana, TX
Thanks. Hope to see you in our travels.
Curious as to what made you decide to go larger w the new camper as so many seem to be downsizing especially for only two of you. Maybe you could talk about that and mention your thoughts on the pros & cons of a larger rig. Say hi to Joan.
Good question. Maybe it’s the lifestyle. We don’t view this so much as camping, than moving our living space from place to place. Those places just happen to be campground. We wanted the comfort of home, yet the freedom of an RV. Plus we’re in the 5th wheel for most of the year. It’s not all running about seeing sites, sometime just a little relaxing wherever we landed and the few extra square feet gives us the amenities like a large kitchen, pantry, big bath with closets and dressing space. We won’t be able to stay in all campgrounds, but that’s ok. There’s plenty where we will fit with plenty of things to see and experience. Best wishes from Joan.
Riverfront Seafood and Macados are both great Kingsport restaurants.
Thanks. On the list for the next trip.
It is a small campground but nice looking, not too far from me and that area is nice also and it wouldn't be a Jerry video without I love RV life, I always wait for that, why, because I love RV Life too.
Thanks a bunch.
Great tour. I've really missed the campground walk through. Love your work. We love rv life too!
Thanks so much. Appreciate you watching.
Any Stink Bugs ?
None. Too cold.
Love your videos, gives us ideas of where to go. If you find yourself in Toledo Ohio, our favorite place is Maumee Bay State Park camping ground. Its great to be there for the birds migration!
Thanks so much. We’ll add to our list.
Just checked their website. I don't think $65 a night is a bargain by any stretch. State parks are generally better and more affordable than private parks.
We were there for two weeks. The weekly rate is much better.
How do you use WiFi to access utube etc? I look forward to your reply.
Thank you,
David
Hi David. If you have a few minutes, here are two videos where I share our Internet set up. This is our current configuration using a MoFi 4500 and a hotspot SIM card ua-cam.com/video/f3bW5RUp2Ww/v-deo.html Prior to the MoFi, we used a basic cell hotspot. Here’s a video created a while back. ua-cam.com/video/0QEsZMkYqU8/v-deo.html It covers both Internet with a hotspot and our previous satellite set up. We still use the satellite only when we’re in an area that has limited or no cell access.
Thank you so much for this review! We stay in that area periodically when we are on route to see family on Mississippi - it is about mid point for us. I had seen this. Amp ground. We stayed at another private campground in the area that was God awful and downright scary so so excited this would be a good alternative! Your Montana is just beautiful. How are you making out with the smaller bed
Thanks. This is a very nice place. We’ll be back. Queen bed is great. We weren’t using the sides of the king and both migrate to the middle. Plus the added space in the room is a big benefit.
Another good video.
I have a question regarding your rig: have y’all had any problems issues with the construction of your rig? I hear so many stories from friends and strangers who have bought an rv over the last two years and have numerous defects, some pretty major.
Thanks. All RVs will have some issues. Some manufacturer related, others just beating up from rough roads. Nothing major so far. Little loose molding that a small finishing nail or two will fix.
