  • #ilovervlife #RockyTopCampground #TenneseeCampgrounds This was our first time in a campground specifically for ages 18 years old and older. The campground is located a few minutes off I-81 at exit 63, with the campsites resting on a gentle hill side. Our first impression was how well the grounds were maintained and the uncluttered surroundings around each RV, even for these cold winter months.

      No, that's the County Music Hall of Fame. This is in Bristol. Well done museum starting with the Victrola company 1927 Bristol Sessions recording the Carters and others from the area and creating country music to present day. 101 Country Music Way, Bristol, VA

    Curious as to what made you decide to go larger w the new camper as so many seem to be downsizing especially for only two of you. Maybe you could talk about that and mention your thoughts on the pros & cons of a larger rig. Say hi to Joan.

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  2 роки тому +1

      Good question. Maybe it’s the lifestyle. We don’t view this so much as camping, than moving our living space from place to place. Those places just happen to be campground. We wanted the comfort of home, yet the freedom of an RV. Plus we’re in the 5th wheel for most of the year. It’s not all running about seeing sites, sometime just a little relaxing wherever we landed and the few extra square feet gives us the amenities like a large kitchen, pantry, big bath with closets and dressing space. We won’t be able to stay in all campgrounds, but that’s ok. There’s plenty where we will fit with plenty of things to see and experience. Best wishes from Joan.

    Just checked their website. I don't think $65 a night is a bargain by any stretch. State parks are generally better and more affordable than private parks.

      Hi David. If you have a few minutes, here are two videos where I share our Internet set up. This is our current configuration using a MoFi 4500 and a hotspot SIM card ua-cam.com/video/f3bW5RUp2Ww/v-deo.html Prior to the MoFi, we used a basic cell hotspot. Here’s a video created a while back. ua-cam.com/video/0QEsZMkYqU8/v-deo.html It covers both Internet with a hotspot and our previous satellite set up. We still use the satellite only when we’re in an area that has limited or no cell access.

    Thank you so much for this review! We stay in that area periodically when we are on route to see family on Mississippi - it is about mid point for us. I had seen this. Amp ground. We stayed at another private campground in the area that was God awful and downright scary so so excited this would be a good alternative! Your Montana is just beautiful. How are you making out with the smaller bed

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  2 роки тому

      Thanks. This is a very nice place. We’ll be back. Queen bed is great. We weren’t using the sides of the king and both migrate to the middle. Plus the added space in the room is a big benefit.

    Another good video.
    I have a question regarding your rig: have y’all had any problems issues with the construction of your rig? I hear so many stories from friends and strangers who have bought an rv over the last two years and have numerous defects, some pretty major.

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks. All RVs will have some issues. Some manufacturer related, others just beating up from rough roads. Nothing major so far. Little loose molding that a small finishing nail or two will fix.
