I'm currently experimenting with creating dancehall reggae "toasts" in Synth V (and Logic Pro X). I've already used it for some roots style songs, and I'm quite impressed so far. I'd better be, for the money I spent on it. lol
Thank you for the video. I'll have to try trimming. That helped a lot in your example. I did some spoken word for the intro of this song. ua-cam.com/video/0-MONqhGPyU/v-deo.html If memory serves, it was all manually entered in sing mode with Pitch Deviation for just about every syllable looking like an inverted checkmark. Another thing I did was turn Vibrato Modulation all the way to zero. To help make it sound natural, I'd try to adjust the pitch range to what I suspect was the actual singer's natural speaking pitch. In your example, it suits the song but I think Solaria's natural speaking pitch is higher. For purely speaking, it would probably help to pitch it up more.
Spoken word is very difficult to "draw in" as the rhythm of language is certainly off the grid. I was a little worried that Solaria would fall apart when converting the audio to MIDI on the Lisa Stansfield track... but as she was clearly trying to do a Barry White "deep voice" so I was actually pleased with the result.
What version of Synth V do you have? I bought it this year and I see: Synthesizer V Studio Pro 1.10.1 Synthesizer V Engine 2.8.1 I don't seem to have the Audio to Midi feature! Unless I'm not understanding how you did it! Unfortunately, I find the videos are low res or blurry for me!
I'm using the 1.11 beta... the standalone is pretty stable but the ARA version is a little unpredictable. Not sure how your videos are low res as I post them as 4k/HD/SD. If you aren't in the middle of a project or reliant on Synth V you could try the v1.11 beta - just be aware that it replaces your v1.10 version. Great stuff thank you! 😎😎👍👍
Will it do Indian songs bollywood type ?
You probably mentioned this before but to save me looking for it, what's your opinion of ACE Studio?
I haven't tried it yet... but the videos I've seen seem pretty good. Although, I think it's only subscription so for me it's a "non starter"

Thanks for the info! I think I'll wait for it to be officially released. The resolution issue is obviously something on my end. @@mixphantom0101
