Fruit is too smart for us mortals to comprehend, clearly he is an advanced AI with intelligence that exceeds the total intelligence of all of humanity combined
All of their answers fit them so perfectly. Scar and Fwip being builders who love to use textures, Joel is super competitive and Fruit just outright guessing it was perfect
Every video with Oli in it makes me remember that line from the Empires/Hermitcraft crossover from Joe Hills. "I can never out-weird this guy!" Dude's brain just works different from...everyone else. 😆
Hard take: All the worktable crafting recipes should be like the loom recipe so we can craft them in inventory GUI. To me, the loom looks the most correct for an interactable "table" and the others just look like strange elongated doors. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)
Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. Like, if you can make a crafting table in your inventory, you should be able to make these other tables in there too.
The loom makes sense if you look at the block itself. The smithing table is pretty much a regular table, but with thin iron plates at the top. The fletching table is a regular table but with flint placed on top The cartography table is a normal table but with paper placed on top But the loom has wood only halfway up the block, then the strings take up the other half. One half wood, the other half string. Just like the recipe.
Yes. They are all a crafting table worth of wood plus the “plate” on top and they have function EXCEPT a loom so crafting ability comes with it so no “craft table” needed.
This was such a funny video. I love how you had both Scar and Fwhip saying the exact same things about the blocks being good decoration blocks. Also Shelby and Oli together was funny
I can't tell whose turn was my favourite between Scar and Oli. I also loved the builders going on about how to use the blocks for building rather than their "proper" use
I did get upset about "noone makes this" for the cartography table - not for me, but for the great and insane VintageBeef because I need everyone to hear about the in-game, map-based, Hermitcraft TCG
This is legitimately the biggest example of the Mandella Effect in Minecraft. Even though we've crated a loom a bunch of times, we somehow misremember the recipe because of the other workstations having a 2x2 of wood at the bottom
Honestly, I can *kind of* see the appeal here All of the job blocks are crafted when you put something on top of them, logically Like you put something hard - a metal sheet - on top of a smithing table to beat instruments with hammer on top of You put flint on top of the fletching table to craft arrows and you put paper on top of the cartography table to draw maps But for looms (the irl ones, which are used for weaving rather than painting banners) the strings go inside them, they don't really go on top and you can even sorta see on the loom design that the strings are supposed to go inside, so they are like in a frame, not on top Which makes sense logically and is completely senseless according to game logic, but oh well I can kinda see it
One of the most common things that everyone brings up whenever we talk about crafting recipes or not remembering them, it’s the workstation blocks lol. We all kinda know how it goes, but don’t quite remember which two items go on the wood on which recipe lol Edited a typo after I finished the video oops lol
Fruit's just a professional MC success story no matter what he does, lol. Also, if the Hermitcraft x Empires crossover didn't already show us, this just proved Scar and fWhip are basically the same person from different dimensions. Maybe it's a Pacific Northwest thing. And I get why the loom has less wood realistically, but I think consistency within the set should've taken priority.
@@lckittyqueen I get that, I still confuse them occasionally if I'm not paying close attention and there's a lot of people talking. They even kind of speak in the same ways. At least they LOOK pretty different from each other, I guess, lol.
I think the reason why a loom is like that is because unlike the other job site blocks, the loom in real life is kind of half a table with string on top of it
It only has two planks because a loom is a frame not a table, so it is basically hollow in real life. The strings cover the open space while you weave. A table top would get in the way of the shuttle.
It would only be annoying if the blocks were called the crafting table, smithing table, fletching table, cartography table, and the looming table, but since its called the loom it is not part of the table crafting recipe so it doesn't need a whole crafting table worth of planks
Honestly, with how much skyblock Gem plays, I knew she would get atleast the first 3 right, because those tables are literally 2 good ways of farming emeralds and the third is for diamond tools. But I did not expect her to fall for the fourth, for the same reason why Joel got it correct.
To be honest, I understand how fruit felt during that questioning. I would have felt anxious during that as well and probably would have made the last one different. Why else would you only have four questions? It clearly had to be a trick.
I started laughing so hard i was crying and gasping for air watching H's reaction to Jardon's writing situation and my mom ran in thinking something was wrong 😂
11:54 He became what he sought to destroy. P.S. you can shift click items into the crafting table, and they go in from top left to right. So, I craft on left side, since I don't need to drag as much if I shift click.
irl, the loom is not a table. its a set of frames. while the others are tables with the proper material on it. paper to make maps. iron tools for the smithy. flint for the arrows.
the part that upsets me is that all of them are THREE blocks tall when they should all be TWO blocks tall like the loom (since they aren't as tall as doors)
Someone else has probably said, but the reason I’d say cartography table isn’t maps is because maps are a bit expensive, that would be tedious every time you wanted to make one of the working blocks for villagers to have to get 8 iron and 2 redstone for the compass PLUS paper to make it a map, just for one work table. Paper makes sense, we just get confused because the map and paper seem so similar on their own we imagine it could be either one which is fair. It would be like for the fletching table to use not flint, or feathers, but 2 whole arrows or 2 bows or either of them. That’s another somewhat complicated recipe on its own, layered inside of another recipe. 1 step to craft the planks, 1 step to craft paper, step 2 is put them together and boom: cartography table. But if you add empty maps, that turns into 1. Make paper 2. Get iron, which could involve smelting 3. Get redstone 4. Now you have maps for one table after more steps than it would take to just make the table with paper, paper eliminates 3 steps to do before crafting the recipe. If you couldn’t tell I don’t like maps or the steps to its crafting recipe lol! Took the purpose of this video as my opportunity to be mad about people thinking it should be maps instead of paper haha
The cartography table is really useful. I play on bedrock and I know a few things on different on java, but instead of using 8 paper and a compass to make a map, the cartography table only takes 1 paper and one compass, requiring a total of 3 paper if you include the table.
Fletching table including enchanted bow NODDERS Also H when Jordan was talking about how he writes letters from the bottom up was the copy of me, and now I'm second guessing how I actually write some letters... but starting from the bottom seems illegal! Great vid as usual H!!
I wonder if more people would craft on the right if the tables were put on the left. Putting the recipe on the left with the table on the right feels more balanced

Its a great decoration block
Why does this comment have so many likes but only 1 reply?
It's a great decoration block
It is a great decoration block
This is a great decoration block
I love how H is like "no one crafts these blocks" and then the builders come in like "have you seen the texture on the top/bottom/side?!?"

Joel is a super good builder
Joel was also using textures but only mentioned it for the loom because that was what H was surprised that he knew

not everyone crafts looms a lot
I have never made a loom

Like you put something hard - a metal sheet - on top of a smithing table to beat instruments with hammer on top of
