I love how all the builders unanimously started excitedly explaining to H how interesting the textures were for design
Its a great decoration block
Why does this comment have so many likes but only 1 reply?
It's a great decoration block
It is a great decoration block
This is a great decoration block
I love how H is like "no one crafts these blocks" and then the builders come in like "have you seen the texture on the top/bottom/side?!?"
To be fair, only gem makes the fletching tables, and she didn't even comment on the textures. Only the villagers
as a mostly builder, watching the other builders start explaining all the decor uses for these blocks and then seeing h's reaction is the best thing i've ever seen
Literally no comment
I too am a builder but I never thoughr to use workstation textures for walls and floors and stuff, will do that for my port
Same here
Joel going "oh yeah im gonna do them all right" and then ACTUALLY doing them all right is such a Joel move
Very
Fruit is too smart for us mortals to comprehend, clearly he is an advanced AI with intelligence that exceeds the total intelligence of all of humanity combined
Couldn’t have worded that any better
It makes sence have you seen the insane bridge also at the end no human could've done that
Fruit is just the apex of humans
yes
Truuuu
not all the empires and hermit builders coming in, crafting them flawlessly and then explaining how each of these block are such good decor items-
Sparklez confusing the hell out of H and making him second guess himself on how he himself writes is the funniest thing XD
All of their answers fit them so perfectly. Scar and Fwip being builders who love to use textures, Joel is super competitive and Fruit just outright guessing it was perfect
with Fruit being a speedrunner and that being all about cheating the system too, haha
Joel is a super good builder
Joel was also using textures but only mentioned it for the loom because that was what H was surprised that he knew
Joel knowing each one of them shows he is the ultimate minecraft gamer
Two builders walked into a bar, and started explaining everyone how they would've renovated the interior.
That's FWhip and Scar for you!
And Joel
Every video with Oli in it makes me remember that line from the Empires/Hermitcraft crossover from Joe Hills. "I can never out-weird this guy!" Dude's brain just works different from...everyone else. 😆
thanks for reminding me of how much I miss bard duo /hj
do you happen to remember what episode that was from? sounds like a fun one
@@waterlily7903 same question
@@waterlily7903 @rsb2227
This one it's a bit in ua-cam.com/video/TCheTYrfGWI/v-deo.html
For those asking where the quote is from, around the 21 minute mark:

This was really just Building Tips with: Gem, Joel, Scar, and Fwhip.
Fruit being one of the most oblivious people in MCC and then he gets all of them correct 💀
Hard take: All the worktable crafting recipes should be like the loom recipe so we can craft them in inventory GUI. To me, the loom looks the most correct for an interactable "table" and the others just look like strange elongated doors. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)
You're so cool for this
Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. Like, if you can make a crafting table in your inventory, you should be able to make these other tables in there too.
100 percent
I'm so happy Joel Smallishbeans ended up being the only one to get all the crafting recipes right on the first try! He won this challenge
I love how Hbomb is just the glue of the MCYT community because he knows bloody everybody.
Also Scott Smajor
Fr! Those two know some many people!
The loom makes sense if you look at the block itself.
The smithing table is pretty much a regular table, but with thin iron plates at the top.
The fletching table is a regular table but with flint placed on top
The cartography table is a normal table but with paper placed on top
But the loom has wood only halfway up the block, then the strings take up the other half. One half wood, the other half string. Just like the recipe.
Yes. They are all a crafting table worth of wood plus the “plate” on top and they have function EXCEPT a loom so crafting ability comes with it so no “craft table” needed.
@@FancyBlewbMuffin Looms have more functions than fletching tables.
@@jetho9859 yeah I thought about that after the fact. You can’t actually do anything with a fletching table. Can you?
@@FancyBlewbMuffin You can give villagers the Fletcher profession with fletching tables.
Well, I think that slabs would also make more sense
Joel being cocky about this is just so him haha
*Nobody:*
*Empires/Hermitcraft folks:* _t e x t u r e_
For me it's HBomb's slow acceptance of left facing crafting recipes
This was such a funny video. I love how you had both Scar and Fwhip saying the exact same things about the blocks being good decoration blocks. Also Shelby and Oli together was funny
I can't tell whose turn was my favourite between Scar and Oli. I also loved the builders going on about how to use the blocks for building rather than their "proper" use
I love how you were so confident about right side crafting and you got ratio’d by almost everyone you invited
I love how H just seems to be friends with everyone
Poor scar he’s just trying his best
I did get upset about "noone makes this" for the cartography table - not for me, but for the great and insane VintageBeef because I need everyone to hear about the in-game, map-based, Hermitcraft TCG
Mood
I expected scar and fwhip's comments, of course they're gonna say those are great decorations block 🤣 also oli's crafting had me DYING of laughter 🤣🤣
This is legitimately the biggest example of the Mandella Effect in Minecraft. Even though we've crated a loom a bunch of times, we somehow misremember the recipe because of the other workstations having a 2x2 of wood at the bottom
not everyone crafts looms a lot
I have never made a loom
Builders as a salesperson:
“So as you can see, it has a very nice texture. you can also use this workbench as a wall, as a ceiling, or as a floor.”
Fruit's just a professional MC success story no matter what he does, lol.
Also, if the Hermitcraft x Empires crossover didn't already show us, this just proved Scar and fWhip are basically the same person from different dimensions. Maybe it's a Pacific Northwest thing.
And I get why the loom has less wood realistically, but I think consistency within the set should've taken priority.
tbf I used to think they sounded identical, like to the point that before I knew who scar was, I thought fwhip was on last life
@@lckittyqueen I get that, I still confuse them occasionally if I'm not paying close attention and there's a lot of people talking. They even kind of speak in the same ways. At least they LOOK pretty different from each other, I guess, lol.
Honestly, I can *kind of* see the appeal here
All of the job blocks are crafted when you put something on top of them, logically
Like you put something hard - a metal sheet - on top of a smithing table to beat instruments with hammer on top of
You put flint on top of the fletching table to craft arrows
and you put paper on top of the cartography table to draw maps
But for looms (the irl ones, which are used for weaving rather than painting banners) the strings go inside them, they don't really go on top
and you can even sorta see on the loom design that the strings are supposed to go inside, so they are like in a frame, not on top
Which makes sense logically and is completely senseless according to game logic, but oh well
I can kinda see it
no. it makes no sense. Logic is incorrect in this situation. no
a loom irl is mostly empty, not really like a table.
also, of course fruit is the guy who uses the wrong formula to get the right answer. of course.
You gotta love Fruit and his Fruitberries bridge at the end
One of the most common things that everyone brings up whenever we talk about crafting recipes or not remembering them, it’s the workstation blocks lol. We all kinda know how it goes, but don’t quite remember which two items go on the wood on which recipe lol
Edited a typo after I finished the video oops lol
11:55 I Love the fact he says you’re suppose to craft on the right but at this moment he crafted on the left
fruit: **task failed succesfully**
17:00 I love how confused Captain is making Hbomb
My favorite part is Hbomb slowly realizing he is in the minority crafting things on the right.
We need more Captain Sparklez and Hbomb content.
I can’t hate the recipe, it’s very convenient to craft cheap and easily
YES! PREACH! :D
It would only be annoying if the blocks were called the crafting table, smithing table, fletching table, cartography table, and the looming table, but since its called the loom it is not part of the table crafting recipe so it doesn't need a whole crafting table worth of planks
LOOMING TABLE, THE TABLE THAT LOOMS OVER YOU
I think it should be a weaving table
I think the reason why a loom is like that is because unlike the other job site blocks, the loom in real life is kind of half a table with string on top of it
Gotta love scar's innocence.
I somehow knew that Scar was just going to dig downwards. He just tends to do that when he wants to leave a situation.
Honestly, with how much skyblock Gem plays, I knew she would get atleast the first 3 right, because those tables are literally 2 good ways of farming emeralds and the third is for diamond tools. But I did not expect her to fall for the fourth, for the same reason why Joel got it correct.
To be honest, I understand how fruit felt during that questioning. I would have felt anxious during that as well and probably would have made the last one different. Why else would you only have four questions? It clearly had to be a trick.
Fruit's so good at minecraft he got the recipe right on accident
To tell you the truth, I was half expecting Scar to somehow die while making his guesses. (Even in creative mode)
HBomb is the kind of guy to tell you to say silk multiple times then ask what do cows drink
I started laughing so hard i was crying and gasping for air watching H's reaction to Jardon's writing situation and my mom ran in thinking something was wrong 😂
Definitely expecting Joel to get it all correct, glad he did.
God bridge op, Fruit fridge is just visually appealing. Literally working like the loom 🤣
I feel acknowledged. I DO make cartography tables. Trading glass panes and paper with them is very lucrative.
I think Etho would have gotten this one. The way he uses them for building, I imagine he's used that recipe many times!
Someone else has probably said, but the reason I’d say cartography table isn’t maps is because maps are a bit expensive, that would be tedious every time you wanted to make one of the working blocks for villagers to have to get 8 iron and 2 redstone for the compass PLUS paper to make it a map, just for one work table. Paper makes sense, we just get confused because the map and paper seem so similar on their own we imagine it could be either one which is fair.
It would be like for the fletching table to use not flint, or feathers, but 2 whole arrows or 2 bows or either of them. That’s another somewhat complicated recipe on its own, layered inside of another recipe.
1 step to craft the planks, 1 step to craft paper, step 2 is put them together and boom: cartography table. But if you add empty maps, that turns into
1. Make paper
2. Get iron, which could involve smelting
3. Get redstone
4. Now you have maps for one table after more steps than it would take to just make the table with paper, paper eliminates 3 steps to do before crafting the recipe.
If you couldn’t tell I don’t like maps or the steps to its crafting recipe lol! Took the purpose of this video as my opportunity to be mad about people thinking it should be maps instead of paper haha
It only has two planks because a loom is a frame not a table, so it is basically hollow in real life. The strings cover the open space while you weave. A table top would get in the way of the shuttle.
Hell yeah HBomb upload. I love these kind of videos with his UA-camrs Friends 😂❤️. I loved everyone's reaction to the loom crafting recipe
It makes sense to me. The loom doesn't have a table included. It has less wood.
The pure power in the "You're not my step mom" "Do you want me to be?" (19:33)
Scar was so confident with the smithing table 😭
hbomb, have you ever used a loom in real life? one that size would have sticks and planks all around if it were to scale. it would not have that thick of a bottom and only two string. I honestly think that if they were fully going for accuracy, it should have been a two-block vertical item
0:41 yes I do make this. It’s very over powered in anarchy servers to make locator maps massive
Wow Joel popped off
Shelby is absolutely correct about where in the crafting table you start a recipe. Except for tools.
Hbomb getting teached about the decorative usage of different workstations by so many different builders is just hilarious 😂
11:54
He became what he sought to destroy.
P.S. you can shift click items into the crafting table, and they go in from top left to right. So, I craft on left side, since I don't need to drag as much if I shift click.
I know exactly how to craft these. You just run until you find a village and you steal them all. May take multiple village attempts.
irl, the loom is not a table. its a set of frames. while the others are tables with the proper material on it. paper to make maps. iron tools for the smithy. flint for the arrows.
loving the crafting quiz videos (especially bc i always know them and then i feel cool), not sure how many more quirky recipes there are, but would love to see more if ur down (:
I love these videos, it's so much fun to see people's reactions when you point out the differences! Gameplay-wise, it really should follow the same crafting logic as the others I think.
Also, you gotta love builders XD
the part that upsets me is that all of them are THREE blocks tall when they should all be TWO blocks tall like the loom (since they aren't as tall as doors)
Fletching table including enchanted bow NODDERS
Also H when Jordan was talking about how he writes letters from the bottom up was the copy of me, and now I'm second guessing how I actually write some letters... but starting from the bottom seems illegal!
Great vid as usual H!!
hbomb. ive heard of you for so long, but im pretty sure this is the first video ive watched of yours and omg, i love the way you do everything, to editing to the jokes, got a new subscriber!!
the loom makes sense when you look at how much wood is on the block and if you think about a loom irl
You lured me in with Scars beautiful face. I thoroughly enjoyed this, now i'm subbing. 😊👍
More HBomb content! Always welcome as midterms get closer
Scar's emoting with MC avatar is just pefrect!
love how the cartography table is the one I make the most often out of these four
Oli doesn't know how to craft workstations, but knows how many beetroot are in a stew haha
I appreciate your comedic edditing style good sir!
Minecraft builders: this block... has an actual function?
The cartography table is really useful. I play on bedrock and I know a few things on different on java, but instead of using 8 paper and a compass to make a map, the cartography table only takes 1 paper and one compass, requiring a total of 3 paper if you include the table.
i love how hbomb gradually starts putting the recipes on the left sideee
What an amazing bunch of creators in one fabulous H's video 👌
I loved the beetroot video so much, excited to watch this one!!
Crafts on the left and uses spruce. No one’s more correct than GeminiTay
13:26 14:40 14:54 15:42 16:25 just builder stuff Hbomb. Just builder stuff.
i have seen this video for more than 5 times in 9 months , i want more of these type of videos HBOMB PLZZzzzzzzz
I love how all the builders started talking about how they use the blocks to build! XD
Love it when HBomb uploads! Loved the vid!
0:45 freak, you got me
Fruit didn't just play the game, he gamed Hbomb
This got that big "I've never actually seen a loom" energy lol
Also "I don't use banners" energy
I love that you got Scar as well!!
I love cartography tables. Cartographers help get infinite emeralds, combined with librarian glass trade, and zoomed out maps are cool I guess.
It’s like the builders all share the same brain, first instinct is to show off some building tips 😂
I love how all the serious builders just know a lot of these or the obscure ones because the deceration purposes it has.
Scar: This has the coolest bottom
H: I think you have a really cool bottom 😏
My mind went straight to his Catmaid arcs when he said that 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Tbh I kind of liked using the cartography table. You can see the map how it looks right now and how it will look after you change the scale.
I love how in the beetroot video Oli was the only one who knew it but in this one he was lost lol
