I’m wondering why your channel doesn’t have more subscribers. You are so talented! I play drums too and play by ear, if I need any help, I always refer to your videos and watch you! Thanks for that!
I must confess, I rarely look at other Rush drum covers since I found your channel. To me, your renditions are only surpassed by the Professor himself. The phraseology, cadence, execution down to the correct stick placement on the cymbal, everything is perfect. I appreciate that you don't just play the song, you play it note for note. I commend you on your hard work and dedication and thank you for this display of virtuosity!!
Sterling is the gold standard of Rush drum covers. One thing on this. Neil used the floor tom with the base drum on the &s during the crash cymbal section of the first bridge. Actually played it like you do for years, but then saw a video of Neil using the floor tom during that part. Awesome as always.
so much talent from someone so young.......well done it must take so much time and practice to get as polished as you......keep up up the good work.....love and peace from England....✌✌✌
The contrast between how your playing sounds vs. the band is stark. I remember reading that they didn't want _Exit_ to sound like _All the World's a Stage_ (it was "too raw", they said), but they definitely went to the opposite extreme.
Sterling, your talent shines. It's thrilling to see how you've mastered these songs--and to think you grew up just down the street! Keep it up, sweetie. Your folks must be mighty proud.
i'm watching many of your video each day on my rush drum workout. i like the camera angle you use, only thing would make it better is a foot cam so i can see more clearly what your feet are doing.
Incredible cover, I'm probably gonna use this video to learn from. Question for you though, how do you go about breaking down the rhythms for the bass drum patterns or the bigger drum fills in general?

Same!
Agree
eu faço o mesmo
If he does YYZ of this live album, that would be the coolest thing to watch, because of the drum solo in the middle.
The Rhythm Method
