I've caught more walleyes on a #8-10 Husky Jerk since they first brought them out, than I ever have on any other hard baits. They are especially deadly now (in late fall) when the fish are putting on the feed bag just prior to first ice.

We fish the weeds all the time on my channel. One of my most favorite ways to fish, hand to fish combat. Very exciting.

Can do the same thing in deep deep waters. Use the shallow diving jerk baits and slam some giant basin walleyes! This weed walleye idea is very interesting though. I live Saskatchewan and all our lakes are glacier lakes. Some get 200 feet deep though so come summer majority of the big girls hide deep.
I’ll try this weed bite too see if it’s worth it around here. Great tips though. Love the information you give!

Fantastic video, thanks for the specialized shallow water jerkbait info. Which size Salmo Sting were you guys using, the #12 (4.5") or the #9 (3.5")?

Looks like a #9 to me. I've sold a ton of them but now looks like I'm going to have to take a couple for a test swim this year

can you please show more of youre technique? I dont want to see you reeling in fish. I want to see how fast you reel, how much and how frequently you twitch the rod, etc.... you film with the rod out of frame most the time unless youre relling in a fish
