I love the fact that you record from economy, unlike other trip reporters. It’s pretty unrealistic for most of us watching to fly first or even business class...
Canada is the second largest country in the world, flying from Alberta to Newfoundland (they are 2 of Canada's provinces,) is about 5 hours and a half.
As a Canadian I can say AC has a pretty decent product. The A330's are old and not as good as the 777/787 but to be fair, I think their value for money is good.
Joshie Miron that’s true you have a point, although 767s are definitely gonna be retired before them. And it’s odd as I’ve seen some 330s painted in the new livery, but who knows, it would make sense tho
Nikola Jokic They are for sure taking out all of their 767’s because of their new 787’s and I believe once they fully replace those they will replace some of the a330’s or maybe even refurbish some of them
AC is definitly one of my Bucket List Carriers to try out sometime in the Future their product looks so sleek and solid in my Eyes. Thanks for this wonderful TR as always ! Have a Great Day you fellow AvGeeks :)
Very nice video. Your seat was way back in 41. Did you find the engine noise bothersome? Noise radiates backward from the wing mounts. I prefer seated right over the wing. Less engine noise on an A330.
Hi David and Felix, it's that time of the year again, soon I am going to fly again for holidays so i'm getting again in the aviation hype so I return watching your video's again hahah Edit: wow I just a lot of "again" in it hahah
Great vid and thanks for flying with Air Canada; and YVR-YUL such iconic cities and gems in our Canadian crown. Question: what was the “clickety-clack” sounds we could hear in the moments before landing? Sounded like someone fumbling with luggage 🤷🏻♂️
I love simply aviation they are my favourite coz they simply show us ecomomy class where most travellers fly in unlike others the likes of sam chui who travel first and business class showing off, it quite unrealistic
It would be pretty awesome to see a nice long night flight video. Like just 20 minutes of the camera pointing down at the city lights as you are landing or taking off.
Air Canada has changed a lot i remember them serving meals on transcontinental and even shorter flights a few years ago.The industry has really changed
You should report the world’s shortest flight. It’s with Logan Airlines, uses a plane that only seats 8 passengers, it goes between the islands of Westray and Papa Westray in Scotland and the flight lasts only 57 seconds in good weather (2 minutes in bad)
In the end my flight was a 787 and took only 4 hours! You can pre pay for food at the Air Canada website. I did and was allowed to order first, straight after take-off. It’s a good service and because I pre paid I also had a snack with the meal. Thumbs up for that!
Felix, I’m from Montreal and I fly with Air Canada often and it’s funny because I recognize the voice of the flight attendant at the beginning when you’re sitting.
Yaaay this video came out But I wish it came out before I went to Canada then I would know what to expect The last time I went on Air Canada (ever since this year) was 3/4 years ago! By the way I'm really close to Montreal right now 😂 Guess where I am : (the amount of dots is the number of letters in the name) Here's a hint : T......
spiderman ironman Since I live in Cyprus, maybe not in Paphos but in Limassol, I definitely recommend you to go to Cyprus. It is a wonderful island and a fantastic tourist destination! :D
Air Canada's A330s are a bit old, with older seats and older IFE. As are the A320 and A321. I tend to avoid them in favour of the 787 and...until recently their 737 MAX's which were quite nice.
I found this trip report to be rather boring. Not your usual work! I was expecting at least a few shots of the mountains! There must have been some interesting sights along the way. I travelled to Vancouver a number of times, and could not take my eyes off the mountains while crossing! On the whole, though, you and David do great work!!
I just uploaded the exact same flight if anyone is interested! Plus the train from Montréal to Québec City to finish it up to home, (and then ferry to Lévis LOL) AND my videos are in VLOG fashion. Come take a look if that's your thing!! We're pretty friendly and funny. OH and that PINK GUY besides me - it's Pancho Sanza the pink koala. 🐨🌸

Another awesome video by Felix again! Thanks for recording! I loved Air Canada so much! Enjoyed it as always!
3:25, that B flat seatbelt chime sound, brings back childhood memories being on a 90’s built Airbus A330 / A340 or Boeing 747
5 hours, across the country is short haul?! Wow!
Canada is the second largest country in the world, flying from Alberta to Newfoundland (they are 2 of Canada's provinces,) is about 5 hours and a half.
xXPyrophorusXx and
Canada is a big country
I used to do it by train and it takes 4 and a half days LOL. But in comfort and style :)
I have a flight from Geneva to Montreal on air Canada’s a330 .... I hope they are good
As a Canadian I can say AC has a pretty decent product. The A330's are old and not as good as the 777/787 but to be fair, I think their value for money is good.

Brilliant work guys! It's awesome to see AC flying widebodies in between the larger cities. Anxiously waiting for that PIA trip report to come out :D
Welcome to YVR! It looks like you took the SkyTrain there, very nice.
Good ebening Montréal
Awesome video! I love Air Canada as it was a very good airline when I traveled to Canada! Anyways I enjoyed this video a lot!
AC needs to configure the a330s with the new cabin, they’ve done it with the 787s and the 777s, time for these ones to get the new cabin too
Agree 100% the A330's are outdated. But will be retired soon.
Nikola Jokic Daniel is right they will be retired so that’s why they aren’t changing the cabins
Joshie Miron that’s true you have a point, although 767s are definitely gonna be retired before them. And it’s odd as I’ve seen some 330s painted in the new livery, but who knows, it would make sense tho

I'm flying Air Canada in October on an A319 from Los Angeles to Vancouver in economy. I'm excited!
Zieldestination Quebec bei 9:58???
Ist doch Montreal, oder?
Stefan Schäfer Here in Canada, we have provinces which are the land area and we also have cities, like any other country. Montreal is a city in Quebec
Better channel than sam chui 👍
SlayingHen42 exactly 👍
2 minutes early I want to go to Canada but these days prices are expensive...
I vacationed in Vancouver last year. The people were nice and food excellent, I could have done without the cold rain though.
Great tripreport as always !
Fantastic Trip Report mate!👍
Nice vid! Flew on Air Canada a while ago, but nice vid! :D

Probably the flaps opening. I just uploadde a vlog of that flight and you can see them clearly in my video :)

It would be pretty awesome to see a nice long night flight video. Like just 20 minutes of the camera pointing down at the city lights as you are landing or taking off.
I hope that they changed the seats and the devices since then, cause I'll have a long trip soon across this aircraft
Nice video.
Short but nice, vlog, Felix.
Is five hours a short-haul flight? No free meal?
I love air canada 🇨🇦
Nice video! And at 3:34 i found a mistake "Air Canda"

Do they charge 1$ per kilometre on this flight too?
Maybe fly to Alberta!
Looked like an Austrian passport at the gate! Grüße aus Tirol! :)
I love how positive your trip repost instead of josh. I just came here after watching josh trip report, and he's pretty exaggerating things
At least josh talks and not this guy
Behind a little bit on vlogs, but trying to catch up.

haha oui moi aussi je prends toujours le même vol YVR-YUL et il a tellement la voix et l'intonation du pilote classique
@@IzzyOnTheMove c’est vrai.
is it possible for you (felix) or david to do a tripreport of a flight to Skopje, alexander the great international?
Nope why
s125ish because why not
I have to fly Canada
Since this flight was taken 15 months ago maybe they have updated their IFE.
I'm flying air Canada this route in a few weeks. I think I'm on the Dreamliner though
787s are better than A330s. Quieter, air more humidified. Very comfy seats.
Southwest flight?

Is this the longest direct domestic flight in Canada?
WestJet has a Vancouver to Halifax (coast to coast) which is 7 hours
Oh yes, those seats are so much better than Their newer seats with the hard plastic armrests and minimal legroom.
I've taken the same flight but in the other way (Montreal - > Vancouver) with the same plane in 2016 :)
A330 = butter landing!
Go jet 2 i know its a bit trampy but i wanna see as im going to pahpos cyprus columbua beach resort

You want a medal
No do you
They are still including the Boeing 737 Max in their magazine... something tells me that they are going to keep it in their inventory...
They might keep it how they like it.
It won't change the fact that I will never step a foot on that plane even if they paid me.
