Wow this is amazing! I am 49 yrs. old & have OI as well as my son. God is truly smazing, though we don't have OI as severe as Byron, my son had a broken femur in utero& I was only 3mo. pregnant. While I've had 30 broken bones, an bone transfusion was never an option for me or my son. OI is so rare, awareness can only be furthered by telling my story. God bless all...❤🙏

Can someone explain why insurance doesn't cover his surgeries but will spend millions on narcan and 5-10 visits to rehab for substance abuse. I work in the field and sadly we already know who's going to be a success story and who's going back to drugs. We know who's going stay or who's going to leave.

Forgive me for saying this but I recently watched a video of he and his twin brother going through a carwash with mom and dad.. his brother was asking mom over and over and over the same question, she totally ignored the able bodied brother and just kept her attention on Byron. I get he's the star of the show but my heart hurt for Blakey! That's just unfair. He has an entire life to go being ignored!
This happens more then we would like to think. Thank You for saying something about it .. This needs to stop, the amount of care will always be greater for the disabled one, but the abled body child needs some special time too ! This can and does cause much emotional harm to the neglected child ..
