I thought you might like a look at this awesome 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, from Passing Lane Motors. This is a true L34 396 Big-block V8, four-speed car. As you can see, it has been beautifully restored in the correct factory color. It's riding on SS wheels, with BF Goodrich white letter tires. The paint is extremely slick, the interior looks like new, and it runs out great. It really doesn't get any better. I hope you find it interesting. We felt very fortunate to be able to take this baby for a little test drive. Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
Filmed at Passing Lane Motors, in Fenton, Missouri.

Bought one of these in 1977-1978, $1600 dollars, was in like-new condition, loved that car, 396/350 hp turbo 400 , cowl induction, you could smoke those factory tires almost as far as you wanted.
One of the best muscle cars Detroit ever put on the road and a personal favorite!
18 in 84 guy down the street had one in light blue with white stripes and loved them since.
The best car ever built. Period.
ChevyShawn When someone says muscle car, the 70 Chevelle SS is what immediately comes to mind.
One of best!
Why?
Yess!!! One of my favorites
The vast majority of today's cars can outperform old muscle cars like this Chevelle but NONE of the cars of today make noises that even come close. What a car. It was a ride in a 1970 GTO convertible that sparked my love of cars and I've loved muscle cars since that day. Thanks for sharing!
twalker294 That is very true, modern cars just can't replicate the sound and feeling of a classic muscle car. Not to mention the fact, that it's a beautiful car as well. Thanks for checking it out!
I wouldn't say vast majority since most new cars make about 120hp!
I can't imagine what it was like then, 1970, height of the vietnam war, the thought of getting drafted, and being able to buy such a car as a 1970 Chevelle SS396, provided you could afford the insurance.
The sweetest muscle car ever!
I hope to own a 1968 SS someday. No A body looks more A body than this beaut.
Nothing sounds as sexy as solid lifters and M22 whine
Let's just hear the music of the car, nothing else is needed. Very nice '70,
The best looking Chevelle ever made in my opinion. I drove the same car with the LS6, and it was scary, especially on wet roads. It would smoke my '69 SS 396 with the L78 in it. What a beautiful car, Love it !
Whitey This one is about as nice as they come. It's cool that you had a 69 SS. The 69 and 70 definitely seem to be the most popular years. Thanks for checking this one out!
Hell yeah! Always a fan of gm a bodies... and the high winding close ratio geared big block cars are always a treat, thank you.
Invincible Extremes It would sure be fun to take it out and see what it can really do. Thanks for checking it out!
In my dream car list, this beast is definitely on the top. Men, that thing looks so freaking COOL.👍👍👍
That is fucking gorgeous.
Any Chevy SS is a fine ride, but a 70 Chevelle, big block is a king among classic muscle.

Uh-huh hear echoes of '70. Ear still full from back in day that terror machine beatin up on many muscle greats
Awesome
"were talking some serious muscle"
What kind of camera gear do you use, brilliant shots!
Luke Worrell Thanks Luke, glad you liked it. A lot of the camera gear we use, Jordan actually built. He has built various camera dollies and sliders over the past couple of years. We use a mixture of cameras...a Canon Vixia, a couple Sony Handycams, and a GoPro Hero 3+ for the action shots. Here's the main camera dolly we use (Jordan built it out of a Clay Pigeon thrower)... ua-cam.com/video/WoKwW7KXhnY/v-deo.html

You must have been broke!
I think American cars are really cool, the only decent Brazilian classic is the Maverick, the rest I don't like
