Homemade Gravy - We Cook Too

Hi Folks! Today, I threw a roast in the crockpot, and it turned out great with some wonderful broth. I took the opportunity to showcase how my Grandmother Evelyn Swayne made gravy...even from her own gravy maker. I make gravy two ways - one from broth and the other from a roux. If you have a chance to show young people how to cook, please do so. That is how I learned and how we are going to pass recipes from one generation to another. We put products away in jars to be able to use at a later time. Just get started! Happy canning and cooking!
