I see how your voice sounds like a violin since you seem to have interacted with it a lot, having a similar capacity for continual legato and smooth flow and consistency even when you go lighter, of course you're a total professional!

Marcela is a human musical instrument, clarity, power, smooth and rich voice. And yes her channel is fantastic.

Lovely reaction! Marcela is one of the most amazing, underappreciated and under reacted to singers in the world. Right up there with Floor and Simone. One of my favorite songs by her is the song Here to Stay from her Through Their Eyes album. The album that Found! was on was crowdfunded by her fans and one of the tiers for that funding campaign was that Marcela would write a song based on a theme or concept submitted by the fan. The patron's so loved their songs that they encouraged her to release them and the album Through Their Eyes was the result. Here to Stay was based on a fan's experience of being told he might have cancer while undergoing medical tests. After the testing was completed it turned out he didn't have cancer and the song was about the relief and joy he felt afterwards. Unfortunately about a year after the album's release Marcela was diagnosed with cancer herself. About a year later she announced that she had beaten it and was cancer free so you can imagine Here to Stay has even more meaning for her. This video is a live playthrough in her home studio a few months after finding out she was cancer free. ua-cam.com/video/joSDTT4ZWYs/v-deo.html. Such a beautiful and emotional performance and the lyrics are stunning. One of my favorite songs by any performer.

Dear Christi.. How the .... did you find this gem!? Was it one of your viewers, perhaps from one of the Floor streams (many connections run via Floor in Dutch metal)?
Marcela is the unsung star of the Ayreon Universe as one of the three Ayreon Angels (with Irene Jansen and Lisette van den Berg in 2017 & with the great soprano Dianne van Giersbergen in 2019), or as the violin playing fury in the Ayreon musical mini-movie, starring Tommy Karevik and butt-pinching Simone Simmons as the Angel of Death: "Ayreon - Daniel’s Descent into Transitus Medley (Official Video)".
Apart from her solo work, Marcela also shines in: Stream of Passion; in Epica founder Mark Jansen's more heavy outlet MaYaN (growls!), and in Dark Horse White Horse (stunning heaviness with 2 former ReVamp members, Floor's band before/during NW). Besides all that, she's also a vocal teacher.
Most of all she's absolutely hilarious in an English language podcast here on UA-cam called "Are We Better Friends Yet?" with her polar opposite Dianne van Giersbergen, where they just talk abt whatever subject is suggested by their viewers. They always end their show with the titular question "Are We Better Friends Yet", suggesting that it's a work in progress.
Go check it out, it's absolutely gorgeous to e.g. witness Marcela being schooled about style/fashion by her counterpart: "Fashionista vs stylista (season 2, episode 4)" (around the 29min mark and onwards). /marcela-rant 😁

Stream Of Passion Live, we need!!
She can do pretty much anything she likes with her voice. I'd say she's as versatile as Floor and Dianne Van Giersbergen, but she's very underrated, same as Dianne. Her work with MaYan is incredible, she's also portayed a main character on an Ayreon album and has sung a version of Sancta Terra with Epica, apart from making collabs with like a dozen different bands
Besides being 'The Mad Scientist' when it comes to figuring out backing vocals for one or more vocalist on many projects for other artists, Marcela is also an absolutely amazing lead vocalist. Arjen Lucassen says of her, 'I can't imagine doing a project without her'. Nough said. Her "Valley of The Queens" with the group, 'Stream of Passion', with her sister, Dianne, doing backup vocals, is my personal favorite version of the song, where you also get to see and hear Arjen and his girlfriend, Lori, both play guitar. From Stream of Passion to Ayreon to Mayan to her solo work she is world class. I'm so glad I found her a few years ago. Good job Christi.

That first Stream of Passion album, where Marcela sang and wrote the lyrics, is easily in my top ten favourite albums of all time.
It's a perfect album from front to back. Not a dud track on it. 'Out In The Real World' is my favourite song.
I'm so glad you're doing more of Marcela. Her entire solo album is so beautiful. She just released a new song "Lonliness Anthem #2" and it's just stunning. Would LOVE if you did react to that one! It's a live video recording on her channel.

She is excellent. You did react to Aryon's Valley of the Queens, I think, with Marcela singing with Anneke and Floor (although Anneke and Floor take the lead and Marcela harmonises with both).

I love Marcela. First heard her with Ayreon and Stream of Passion, and she floored me! She has a great Patreon site, if anyone is interested. Loads of great music there. A new single is minutes away, according to her latest post.

The same city where the three young sisters Dany, Pau & Ale Villarreal, better known as 'The Warning', come from btw. You have to react to them too. Monterrey MX has superbly right musical grounds.
Marcela is very versatile and cotnributes to so many projects. You already checked out MArcela with MaYaN and solo, but I'm sure the following is another song that would impress you showing her abilities. Check out from the band "Dark Horse White Horse", the song "Judgement Day" (symphonic). In this song, Marcela goes full drama. This is a symphonic version of the song which originally is quite a heavy metal song (also sung by her). However the symphinic version is the version that makes her voici stand out most because of the less dominent instruments. You could of course also do both versions to compare them.
