Homemade Electric Roller Bender

- The bending machine is adapted to my needs. To make the bending rollers, I used sliding gate roller that I once bought with the intention of building a mini wood sawmill but plans changed and I decided to use the rollers in this project. The electric gear motor 0,55KW I used is too fast to drive such a bending machine, so I had to use an inverter to reduce the speed. The bender worked very well, bending evenly and precisely, without deforming the pipes.
This project was made with this welding machine SSimder SD-4050Pro, Link to the welding machine :

If you purchase SD-4050 Pro (2024) during the anniversary event, you can upgrade the welding gun and ground clamp for free and receive free gifts.
In this video, I used a 3D printer for the first time. Despite my concerns about using this type of devices, it turned out that this 3D printer is easy to use and works perfectly in the work I do.
The 3D printer Elegoo Neptune 4 Max was provided to me by the Geekbuying store, link to 3d printer.

This is the best kind of video. It clearly shows every step, but not for too long. The best part is that the sound is even and balanced and there is no annoying music. Well done!
Thank you 😁
Your's is the first pipe roller I've seen that thought to include a ruler to make repeat bends, brilliant.
Nothing like a $50,000 shop setup to make a diy tool.
Clawing back slowly on the investment...lol
Che progetto utilissimo. Ancora una volta l'uscita del tuo video è un ansia di adrenalina🤩
Grazie 😁
Thing of beauty! Thanks for putting this video together.
Thank you 😁
Muita criatividade e conhecimento
Μπράβο σου φίλε πολύ ωραία δουλειά και χρήσιμο εργαλείο σού εύχομαι υγεία και ότι καλύτερο ευχαριστώ για το βιντεάκι 😊😊😊😊
Top class work by a top class tradesman
Thank you 😁
I like it. The only thing I would change is the round stock which holds the other dies. Cut them off and thread them and mill out a flat spot to install them. Using your lathe you can make a design on the ends and round them over. Knurl them if you want. To make it fancy.
For an additional project you could make a mag drill stand for a hand drill that can put things in at an angle. Degrees less than 45 degrees or less. While the list of times one might use it is short its still a one off tool for that one projects you need.
Now you have video idea and as far as I know it would be a one of a kind tool.
Very nice. It has everything it needs and nothing it doesn't.
Thank you 😁
4:52 wow, you got me there, I have never seen that tool, based on how you are using it i guess that is some sort of metal router tool? Fantastic video always love watching all your builds, you are a true pro!!
Thank you 😁 I saw this tool on some video shorts and immediately started searching the Internet 😂 this is the link on Amazon amzn.to/3UpkJ2K
@@WorkshopFromScratch Thank you!!
Very nice work sir. This machine looks very handy
Good job mister beautifully done
Thank you 😁
Fantastic work here!
Thank you 😁

Excellent work!
Thank you 😁
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
Construction robuste 💪👍
Fajna gietareczka.... Pozdrawiam 👍👍.
Man, amazing work! 😃
Now you can start to build bike choppers. 😬
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you 😁 You guessed it, I'm going to make a chopper, but during the holidays 😁
@@WorkshopFromScratch sweet! Post at least a picture of it afterwards! 😃
Ok:) Now I'm building a pretty crazy vehicle, but this is the second time I'm working on this project and I'm failing again🤣
@@WorkshopFromScratch Keep going, you're going to get there! 😊
I have a friend who worked at Moore special tool. Cool project.
This stationary drill is my best purchase for the workshop I have ever made :) Thank you😁
Excellent!
Great job; your designs/builds have come a long way-you make it look really easy, but that's true of anyone whose good at what they do. I'd like your videos even more if they were more detailed/longer re: what it took to build this, but that's jmo. Looking forward to seeing this being used in future videos. God bless.
Thank you 😁 I'm sorry if I showed something inaccurately, I will try to make a more detailed next video :) Regads 😀
@@WorkshopFromScratch // Nothing is inaccurate-not at all. I was only saying that more detail would make for longer videos, and that would be great!
Nice work
Thank you 😁
Ottimo lavoro💪
Grazie 😁
Super gut 👍💪🔩🔧
This video deserves millions of views not 84k
Nice!
Thanks 😁
Impressive indeed, first comment.
Nope, I'm first!
@@brucemitchell5637 ok , you first :)
Ficou topdlinha 👏👏👏👍🇧🇷😎
Beauteful
Thank you 😁
I wonder if you want to install coils for the boiler, how will you do it after you have put the coils inside!
awesome work! Can you show how the micrometer is used to measure the bending radius or deflection
Thank you :) I added information that the caliper will be used to measure the repeatability of bending several elements, but the dimensions can also be calculated by substituting the formula, but I still have to ask my brother because he is better at mathematics than me😁
I’ve got a question. I have a 14 hp Kohler engine running a 30 series torque converter. This should be well over what this torque converter can handle, but it seems like it is incredibly underpowered. It’s not able to open it up all the way, and it barely even pushes me on the motorcycle I’m making. It also bogs down every time it reaches full throttle.
What's The Question? Not Being Funny Or Anything, But Just Thought I'd Ask.
What’s wrong with the engine. It should be incredibly powerful but it seems to be barely powerful to pull itself. It also doesn’t like to idle or hold top speed.
Nice!!! 👍🏻🎅🏻🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮
Thank you 😁
Should have put a motor on the leading screw, so you don't have to put the controller down every 5 seconds.
Let’s see you make it.

Sir can u make video making vibration polish machine?
tanks y gaesss❤❤❤❤❤❤
At min 15:16 I got myself a second degree burn 😂
No, it cooled down.
But several times I unknowingly grabbed a freshly welded piece of metal - I don't recommend it, it was an unpleasant experience 😂
@@WorkshopFromScratch I'm very familiar with that type of burn
👍👍👍
Motor speed and direction controller is Inverter or VFD
Wery nice project!👌 Where you ordered rollers from?
Thank you 😁 You can buy such rollers on Amazon or another online store, the rollers are called gate rollers
Top!!! Where have you bought the u-groove roller?
Thank you 😁 You can buy it in the agricultural machinery parts store and although I still have to check it on Amazon
Where did you order the motor with gearbox from ?
Could replace handheld remote by foot pedals...
I have to buy it, it would definitely be much more convenient, but I wouldn't give up this remote control, I'll just add a foot switch :)
Welder looks like IWeld mashine.
加压装置也是电动就更好了🎉
😱👌👍👏💪
That would be a roll former not a bender.
I've already corrected the title, sorry for the confusion
👍👍👍🤔
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🫡
👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
Awesome!
Thank you 😁
