- You could go out and buy a pair of furniture dollies from a big box store OR you could make them yourself for a fraction of the cost!
Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm the owner of Four Forty Five Designs. My first love is restoring furniture and my second....diy! In this video I lay out for you how I made a pair of furniture dollies for a less than $14 out of wood I already had and wheels I ordered online. To purchase a pair from a big box store would set you back at least $45.
If I can make these you can make these. I hope you'll click like and subscribe it really does help support my small business that's just getting off the ground. And if you enjoyed watching an Aussie furniture flipper/DIY-er feel free to share with others. See you on the next one.
Thanks so much for watching!

I am so glad I came across this video. As much as I watch you, I`m surprised I missed to begin with. My husband offered to make me a couple of dollies so I sent him this video. Thank you for sharing!!! You totally ROCK!
Ahhhh Pamela!!! YOU ROCK! That's awesome that he is going to build you some...I'm so dollar conscious (aka cheap 🤣) I just can't justify buying them when I know I can make it...I blame my dad influence 😆
Oh brilliant! Everything in my shop is on casters…everything! I love them! Workbenches (3), saws, and a few trollies. I have one furniture dolly but I never thought to make them. Until now. Thanks!
Ah this is super cool! I still have the ones I made. Was thinking the other day I probably could use a few more 😆 always shuffling my pieces around…it’s like Tetris 🤦🏼♀️😂
Great Idea. Need to get me a couple made.
Mine have held up really well and save my back so much 😆
