Hey man, do you pan for gold? Id love to get up there and test out those boil holes. Last sunday i went to the bridge by dinky creek campground and found some decent gold. Much better than big creek, and big sandy creek.
I have done some pan work here and there. But not in this area. It's an interesting idea. The holes are beautiful, many deep and water chilly. I bet the rock beds are firm. Anyway, good luck.

Thanks. Very interesting read. I have always loved the area. And was interduce to Dinkey Lakes area in the early 60's on my first pack trip.
