- This needs to be done during the nighttime or roadkill will show up instead of buzzards. I did this after eliminating all threat across the entire map.

Mad Max was a really good game up until I started trying to complete all challenges and trophies. FACT!
+StretchNEra Yep. Almost ruined the game for me by that point. It took me quite awhile to finish off all the little challenge post story. But I did.
@Ulf ViKings there's a race you could have taken advantage of using the war archangel. I knocked out all 3 sniper challenges with it
only achievement left to do, is making all the challengers.
It has been 8 years since you posted this, and the achievement is technically unobtainable at this point. But tonight, you helped me get that last achievement from my old 2016 save. Thank you.
I don't understand how this has a single down vote. This challenge was the last one I needed to platinum this game and I was stuck on 8 boarder spike kills. I finished the game without paying attention to the challenges and this video was really the only reason I got the platinum. I wasn't going to play the game over again because by that point I was sick of trying to complete every little challenge. Like the original video poster said, they won't always come. So keep fast traveling back if you go through the process he did and don't get boarders. Have a little patience though. Anyway, thank you to the video poster. As I said, I wouldn't have gotten the platinum without this video.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to make this video. I could not for the life of me find even one border to even attempt to impale him, and I looked for hours. This solution got me the impales I needed in less than 30 minutes.
I had 10/15 when I completed the game. I was afraid this was going to stand in the way of the platinum. So I tried another tip first, didn't work out. then this. Roadkill came to start with in the day. oh well, just kill (or fast travel) and drive back to wait for more. when night closed in I was afraid it wouldn't work, but the first buzzard that came had a truck full of jumpers.. this is still helping a year later. :)
Nothing spawns day or night
Thankyou JP you're a legend. it took me about 3 or 4 hours cos i got there near the end of the night and only one group had a boarder vehicle in it : [
so i hung round doin doughies and jumps and taking my frustrations out on roadkill vehicles for fucking HOURS until it was night again.
then the next night it was freaking prickles and crap in every group... i was starting to get really pissed off when, about 2/3 of the way through the night, 2 boarder vehicles came in a row with 4 guys on each.
this was my last challenge for the "up to the task" achieve and completed the game for me 100%. all thanks to you :P awesome video, saved me from another 30 hours of insanity.
I just completed this challenge, and here is my ultimate tip: Do this at night time. Go to the place in this video. When a Buzzard with hoarding party comes, ram it in the side. Let one of the buzzards jump on your car. There is only room for one Buzzard, so all the others will fall in the spikes. I got 8 spike kills in one night. Could have spiked more if I needed

For me they show up almost every time within about 30 seconds however the spawn rate of the boarders was quite low. There are a couple of things I did a little different. Sometimes there is a parked car either at the bottom of the hill after jumping off or down the lower part of the highway. If there is then fast travel back to the death run and try again. The other thing I did was to go to the intersection and drive around in circles making sure to also switch the camera from the north road back to the east road. They will spawn from either road when the camera is facing the other way. If you get the sense that they aren't coming just fast travel and repeat.

Havnt tried at night yet, but both scrotus and roadkill enemies keep spawning for me, even scrotus kamakrazee's to jump on my car and get impaled.
For me they spawn within 1-2 minutes if i park in that intersection but just off (north) of the convoy path and dont keep looking in all directions. I think pointing the camera in a direction keeps them from spawning there, like in GTA 5 with the taxi.
I teleported away from this area after a while to do other stuff and when i returned they stopped spawning. However when i followed the convoy path over the bridge to the west they spawned again.
The people who are thumb downing this video obviously have no patience. The first hour I did this I got nothing but charbones and prickles coming down the mountain. Then I decided to kill that one road kill scout up ahead of the hill and park in the parking lot right there. 2 times in a row I got full trucks of boarders. I accidentally blow the first one up with a thunder poon :(. I was not happy. But I did that exact thing 2 more times and got a truck and got 4 kills of one truck. This being the second to last challenge I need I feel I owe you money or something lol. I thought I'd never get this done. The only other challenge I need is to collect scrap when the game is turned off.
Where exactly are you located on the map? It's kinda tricky to tell just using your mini map. Thanks!

Seems like it doesn't work anymore though. Waited 1h20min. All night(in game) and nothing. Probably after patch, they fixed something. Dunno why would they though.
I wish I knew more, but I haven't played the game for quite some time. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm that this method either does or does not work.

if i drive south of jeets i can always find 3 people working on a car to hop on my car, but none land on the spikes. the spikes r literally through them and they dont die. even tried using prickles. fuck this game
If not post game use Grit Canyon's Convoys this one could have 2 trucks with 2 borders each and maybe 1-2 other cars with 1 border each or if have any convoys left save them for last and don't take out the lead vehicles. Do you have all spikes? Best to make sure they land on the hood spikes and don't pull up right beside the vehicles. just slowly get the hood next to the guy to jump sometimes they die or don't
Tried this location, waited 10 mins each time at least then quick travel back and do again and again, not one lot showed for me, I'm really stuck can you help me out please?..
+Reece Davis Are you able to get the roadkill packs to spawn during the day? If so, it should be the exact same process to get the buzzards.
They never show up for me at night never. I wait there for like 5 mins and nothing.
+Tobey Starburst Sometimes they wouldn't show up for me either. Try fast travelling to a stronghold, then back to this area.
fuck me man at first they never spawn now they spawn exactly like shown in the video but its never buzzards its the roadkill faction

+Tobey Starburst Simply get any part of your car next to the back end of the enemy car where all the jumpers are standing. If you drive alongside it, they might successfully land the jump if you stay too close, so you need to pull away a little bit when they're about to jump. However, if you pull too far away, they'll miss your car entirely.
+Kimano they spawn only by night?
+Cedric Baudu Buzzards will only spawn at night, which are the ones you want. During the day roadkill will spawn instead.

So you kill just spiky cars, I thought you had to use your own spikes on them.
The challenge is to kill the guys that are trying to jump on your car with the spikes, not the cars themselves. Only certain types of cars spawn with boarders, so I destroyed the ones that didn't. Then drive alongside the one that has boarders until they try to jump aboard.
@@jasonpartridge2336 Well I am not finding any and when some do jump on the car its on the side and not the front, its nighttime and absolutely squat all is appearing in pickups and this is post game.
@@jane1975 If they're jumping on your car, then you're finding the right enemies. Make sure that you have the spikes that go all the way around your car. When they go to jump on your car, make sure to move away just a little bit to make sure they'll land on the spikes and not on your car.
Why do warner and avalanche hate trophy whores? I need just this but scavenger locations showing 190/191 even though i have the trophy.

After all and after losing my time in the
location that you mentioned in the video I give up and all I can say when I so close to turn off the Ps4 and delete mad max I remembered some location they have the same truck and I go to the location and I found what I looking for and it was always show up without waiting a long time at night and the location everyone know this location in pink eye stronghold all you have to do :-
- Take the Same car
- Fast travel in pink eye stronghold
_ get out from stronghold
- Wait for 30 or more
- They will show up
