new lee player here, hoping lee will be the first character i get out of green ranks! ive been playing for about 4 months, first fighting game ive ever played. i have played quit a few characters in my 270 hours, kazuya, devil jin, dragunov, paul, heihachi, lili, alisa, bryan, and lars. but none of them feel as fun as lee does, even though im 50x times better with kazuya or devil jin, im only better because i have a few key moves down i dont enjoy their combos they are so hard to learn and dont feel fun, lee on the other hand feels so fast and fluent i really enjoy his fighting style. id say hes my favorite character so far. kazuya my second favorite. then drag for my third! i think playing lee will help me be a better player. since i dont have amazing panic moves like kazuya with his hellsweep. i dont have a crutch i dont have HUGE damage on really easy moves like devil jin or paul, i have to play alot smarter to get my wins and i cant get stuck in this mind set where i just hellsweep to win as it would only get me so far in ranked before meeting players who know how to deal with hellsweep spam.
Yeah you don't dash cancel at all. Unfortunately this guide is a little incorrect sometimes. You just hold back immediately after hms, then hit 3,3fn. The timing is very strict (feels like two frames or so) but basically if you're getting hms3 to come out, you're doing it too early. If b3 hits but it isn't a combo, you're very close but a little too late. Hope that helps!

Any tips for the CH D3 (HMS) Dash combo? I can't seem to dash cancel fast enough to land the B33. Love the Vid BTW.
U need to be in hitman stance and then pick up with b3,3 no need to dash cancel.
