I absolutely love Byron and there are heaps of things to do in Byron Bay - most of which are pretty chill and tranquil. But if you fancy injecting a bit of adrenline into your Byron Bay itinerary then it's time to Skydive Byron Bay!
I joined the crew of Skydive Australia at their Byron Bay dropzone for a jump at 15,000 feet - a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend Charlie, who was certainly caught off guard by her tandem skydive Australia experience!
Nothing can describe that rush of adrenaline as the door open, you dangle your feet over the edge and then get thrown out of a perfectly good plane!
I highly recommend ticking skydiving off your bucket list in Australia and alongside Mission Beach, Byron Bay is my other favourite dropzone!
