I think people who already have been in relationships suffer a lot more from being single than people who have always been single. They know what they're missing.

I was married for 10 years, right after college. Then I got divorced, so I first filled some of that free time with a PS1 and the first game I played(prior to that, last games I played were in like 1990), that came with it, Final Fantasy 7. Made me fall in love with the genre. The next year I got season tickets(went with different friends) for my favorite college football team(which I kept until 2020, thanks to C19, I finally dropped them). Very rarely felt lonely. I hooked up a few times but never got into another relationship.

After a divorce and tons of chicks, it's very very easy to be single haha I haven't been happier since I started focusing on myself. On the flip side, that took many years of the ups and downs to reach that point. As much as someone won't wanna hear it, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It's easy for me to say because I've had it, lost it, got it again, then got sick of it haha eventually you just become jaded and stop thinking about chicks all together, then suddenly grass is greener, the sky looks more blue, etc etc haha

I’m 32 and have never been in a relationship. It can be frustrating (especially as someone who suffers with bad social anxiety) and even though I want to be in one, I have learned to live with being single.
Here’s the part that sucks: I have a sibling who is happily married and another who has been in a few relationships already. Factor in the friends getting married (a few of whom haven’t had the time to hang out anymore) and it gets to you a bit.
So even though I’m happy, it still sucks.

Cooking, real cooking, is a very important artform that is often lost. Everyone wants to open packages and microwave things, people don't know to want to put their hands in dough or to smell bread baking in the oven.
It used to be grandmothers brought their grandkids into their kitchen and not only taught them the skill of cooking and baking but also helped them build an emotional connection to being in the kitchen. They taught you that there is real artistry in cookery and joy and love to be found in preparing food for others. Hence the old saying, "If you love someone bake for them."
Sadly with so many parents today being incompetent, kids being raised by the internet, and the lack of sex ed being taught in schools many kids now have grandmas that are barely older than they are. I have a student that is a grandmother at only 27 years old. What you going to teach a kid as a 27 year old grandmother? How to twerk and to not rely on the pullout method?

I've been in relationships since I was in middle school. From my teens to early 20s, that was pretty much me until I had a serious conversation with my ex about the “next level” of our then relationship (marriage), ultimately I didn't, ever. After that, we broke up. I think I spent a month or 2 just trying to get over her, after that I realized the feeling of being alone, somewhat peaceful, quiet. I got to enjoy my company and a sense of self-love and discovery. Been on that high for years now and I love it still. I'm alone but not lonely. Wow, so other countries just be chilling enjoying each other's company and we here in the U.S. just be quick to shove marriage down our throats, wow, it's no wonder why I detest this institution so much.

The best "couple" relationship I had was a one night stand for 2.5 years. /// Meaning she wasn't looking for a BF at all and I was at a crossroads after a heavy break... and we both knew we had 2 years before we'd split. We danced and laughed and fucked and ate and wandered and spent time together but also spent time apart. .... taught me ja cannot lose yourself "you" in any relationship... go on trips w/out em, be by yourself, be w your stupid friends. /// The Overlap is where you and the other get to be your own selves but find a domain of connection in between. Be 90% you and 10% Us.

If you don't want a relationship, don't talk yourself into one.
If you do want one, don't talk yourself out of it.
I actually think that all of the online stuff makes hooking up way easier but actual dating way harder (I'm old, though). Also, texting is way easier than talking and that's not really a good thing. I sympathize with younger folks for that.

There are still some women out there that know how to cook and aren't looking for someone just to take half their stuff. Have to take time and get to know them. I've been single for 8 years and haven't given up yet. Just need good friends or friend to go out with and have a good time. Like you said in one response, miss the snuggles, cuddles and especially the kissing. Be even better when you find the right person.

I love this video, because I got to see the real you, for a longer, continuous time, than I've ever seen you. It was refreshing. You used your real voice, and your real demeanor for almost the whole video and that's what I wanted to see.
Also I did catch the "Joe Rogan" phrase, but didn't wonder about it because I do the same sort of thing, with random phrases, and/or accents, that I hear.
And I've been single coming up on 7 years, and I'm perfectly fine with that, and am in no rush to "fix" it.

Thats facts. Ive been single and fairly 'alone' for like a year now. I quite enjoy it because i know that i can get into a relationship with the wrong girl if i really wanted to, hell i did it twice by accident already. Im not worried about perpetually being alone because i know shit tends to just fall into place and if it doesnt i trust i'll be able to handle it.

Being single depends on your age because when your friends get married and have kids or social gatherings everybody brings their significant other and you feel like a fifth wheel so you're left to your lonesome or hobbies and then there's a hole if you're the kind of person who wants kids and there's time limits specially on women so being single all depends on what you want out of life and your age where you are in life

Meeting people is impossible* especially since people speak in emojis and reels, when you do meet them, you can't understand what they are saying hahaha! Knowing when they are just being nice and not into you is key. But both of them look kinda similar so at some point you run out of limbs to go out on.

Yeah. Being single can be fun. But being in a good, solid, relationship is better. That doesn't mean throw yourself at the first person who winks at you. Never rush into anything, especially something as complex as a relationship. You need some variables to coagulate properly, in order to decipher from a good mate, a piece of garbage, or a complete waste of time. And this is gonna sound like fortune cookie BS, but I found it to be true. More than once. It happens when you LEAST expect it. Anyway, enough of the Ann Landers crap here. GREAT video once again "BIG DURRRDY". Ciao for now! 🤘🤘🤘
