They basically make children in a lab by extracting ova (eggs) from the woman and having the man masturbate so they can collect his semen and make them match up. Then, they look at all the embryos and determine which ones have the highest chances of survival and then place them into another woman who they pay to grow and birth the child before being torn from the baby she carried for 9 months. Since it’s an incredibly unnatural process, they have to do a lot of extra things to make it work, like inject the surrogate everyday with immunosuppressants so her body doesn’t kill the baby.

I was finally done with the IVF injections and was so relieved….. then as soon as I was pregnant I had to start heparin injections that I need to do every single day till the baby is 8 weeks old, due to a blood disorder I have 😭

I am on a program with a medicin which i get injected in either the stomach, back side of arms or butt cheek and OMG does that injection hurt.. not the actual needöe but the medicine stings sooo bad and it's in the fat so not the muscle. They pinch a big pinch and then stick about 4cm needle straight in and inject it. And it's almost like my eyes get pushed into getting tears even tho i have a veeery high pain tolerance. It's the wors day of the month but also the best because i know i don't have to have extreme anxiety 😅. But damn does it hurt. Every time i go there my body knows it will hurt so i start to cold sweat even tho mentally i'm not scared at all.

Had a blood infection from a cut, they put a 3 inch needle in and I swear the injection took them 10 minutes. That is excruciating
