Since the Royal Court is on the horizon I figured we play as a Tribal Ruler and and try to experience what Northern lords brings to the game. We will start as a start as an independent county and attempt to expand to an empire. We will have to deal with the usual ck3 diplomacy woes such as vassal management, partition succession, elective succession, raiding, and trial-by-combat to name a few. The eventual goal may be to reform our religion, Asatru, and become feudal... if things go smoothly of course.
In this episode, we start as an independent count in the midst of a bunch of aggressive tribal neighbors. We have Sweden to the south, Norway to our west and the rest of tribal Scandinavia to our north. We'll attempt to expand rapidly using the county conquest Cassis Belli to ensure we don't get attacked early and lose it all.
Will ANGERMANLAND live on and seek glory. Follow along as we struggle through the fast paced playstyle of a tribal ruler and look to establish our as a Northern Lord.

A bit rusty here so bear with me! These small tribal starts are packed with action so tried to make it as cohesive as possible. Things should slow down when we try to stabilize, hopefully.

Edit: Extra points for playing Sweden AND also for conquering Biton - which just happen to be the area in Sweden where I live. These days Biton is known as Västerbotten though. 😀

@@SmonteGaming Nah, no worries man. Pronounce it however you like. I don’t know why some people find it so offensive when someone born in another part of the world and on top of that is speaking a totally different language all day long than the language that gave birth to the name of that place can’t say the name EXACTLY like us natives do when we say it. I see that happen all the time in the comment section all over UA-cam.
Never apologize for shit like that mate. Most of us do our best to get the names right, but still it comes out silly. That’s not the end of the world. Or is it? Have I missed something important here? 🤔
